I had some great matches today with the current changes.  Really like the hellhound change, had to coordinate more with my gunner on the blender fish, but it also gave my opponent a chance to shoot me back if he could get a broadside gun pointed at me.

May 16th Hotfix Notes:

- Fixes load balancer failing to pre-empt load; should mitigate EU load issues once and for all!
- Spawn dummy spawn is rate-limited (one every second); should prevent overspawn issues
- Stats relating to time should now be fixed (1:1 as opposed to 1:60 (!!!))
- Increase lobby performance

Not one but two hotfixes to the server went out today!

The first restored map vote and start countdown, as well as fixing a number of server stability issues.

The second fixed a memory leak introduced by the first. Uh, oops.

I still can't hear half the crew in game. Is that a known issue?

For the record, the various hotfixes this week have all been related to server stability and performance.  No balance or client changes whatsoever.

I am under the impression that most of the voice-chat problems are more related to the Steam voice servers than anything to do with the game itself. Is this true, or did I pull it out from where the sun-don't-shine?

Yes, voicechat is done entirely through Steam;  I'm not sure if they changed anything recently, but there was an update or two around the right time.  It's also mostly peer-to-peer, so the firewall and connection of you and everyone you're talking to may have more bearing on its effectiveness than whatever servers Steam  uses for it.

is the holding absolutely 110% as effective as clicking like a madman? Including the first click when switching tools?

Also which existing achievements were modified? I know the pilot class to rebuild 80 parts with spanner was dropped to just 40, but I'm not sure which other ones changed.

There may be a bug causing a slight delay with the buff, but we're not 100% sure yet. It might just be that it looks slower if you're used to clicking much faster than you actually need to. We're still investigating.

With the achievements, there were numerous minor to medium adjustments all across the board, and I'm afraid we didn't keep a log of every one, sorry.

its definatly slower Ms. Clara.. it seems im gonna get artheritis in my hand still after all haha
