Maybe I'll make a chart for heavy flak (even though it is much less needed).

I had a weird glitch while trying to make hits from over 2 map spaces.
the explosion would happen on my gun, with no damage.

Did the shot count? This could be the silly misfire thing that's plagued everybody all too many times.

It did not count. It was like how heavy flak ends in an explosion if it hits nothing but air, but the animation and sound was on the end of the gun.

Here is a much more boring and less useful heavy flak with lesmok picture.  not worth making a full chart.

I Flew with Russian CA Ailen yesterday. He gave the engineering rundown to another engineer on my crew in Russian. We didn't do to well on account of bad lag while trying to maneuver a Galleon through Duel at Dawn. I only know how to say "left", "right", "front", "back", "shoot", "repair" "ballon", and "hull" in Russian. I look forward to Russian training day.

Левая», «право», «фронт», «назад», «стрелять», «ремонт» «Бальона» и «Халл
easy as that!

(right = PRAH-vuh, Left = LYEH-vuh is all I know)

You can use this trick to buff and fix. Switching between buffing hammer and anything else.

This makes it so you hit as soon as you can on both timers.

Oh and I played with TheEnd again, My favorite new gunner.

I very often want to try to go through there because most fights end up on that edge of the map plus the close by spawn point. What if the wind blew the other direction, away from the big open space invisible wall and into the scrap? Ships already gravitate to that area to be in open space, why blow them there also?

This would not solve all of the new player problems including the biggest, lack of communication.  It would solve the SECOND biggest problem of new players not being the right class ( I would not consider trollers, or them just not being any good, the second biggest problem). 

There is a situation where a new player might be a great one but he or she didn't know you shouldn't have 2 gunners and then is stuck with the choice of being chewed out by the crew or leaving the game.  That is not a good first experience.

What if there was a beginner class that is all classes in one. This class could be an option for 1-3 lvls or so and then its unavailable and you have the normal 3 classes.

This would almost entirely end the mid game joining gunner or captain issue.

New players would have an easier time learning to play and would get yelled at less.

Yes this would give an advantage, but it would be very hard to exploit and only temporarily until the player levels up.
