Wow! My punch actually worked... here everyone's being elaborate and slamming Pyramidions into it and a single punch lands 14 damage! *pokes wall* TAKE THAT, WALL!

Coldcurse you can't just give away rotten apples like that *rolls eyes*. Look now you've made things awkward. Don't worry Redira *pats on back* my gender is often confused quite often as well.

*Takes advantage of the current distraction of everyone to land a flaming punch at the wall*

yeah looks like some trolls have come in and posted all sorts of off topic stuff. without realising how important boarding is i have always seen it as a real spilt in the community its sad really

I couldn't agree more, Tropo. I almost feel like crying over this horrible loss. Such a tragedy.

A non serious thread? I am shocked.

This matter does have some (rather high) degree of importance to me, as a player and us as a clan. I don't know what to think anymore, Sunderland. I'm very confused.

I was hoping to attain the support of Muse, a company which I myself have supported for over a year.

I'd like to request that this be returned without further question to the Feedback and Suggestion area of the forums.

Thank you.

Thank you all for your wonderful input to this concerning issue, please keep your comments coming. I am writing everything down and carefully exploring each detail. This could be a new possibility for GOIO as a community and as a game!

Hi everyone, hi Muse.

I want to bring up something that may seem a little outdated however had a huge importance to me, therefore I'd politely like to bring it up for discussion once more for your consideration.

Firstly I'd like to post a quote I found on the forums from ImaginationMan on 2012:

"The only issue I can see with this game's design is the lack of boarding. Just an open question to the developers: Why did you guys decide to leave out boarding?"

Please note that this quote has been around since 2012.

I, as a player, began this game in 2013 (February 23, 2013 to be exact). The issue of boarding was still not brought to the plate and as I can see from this post that it has never been. I was really disappointed to see there wasn't a thread already brought up about this conversation, therefore I'd like to start one now. This has been very disappointing to me in general in regards to the game.

In hopes that you will resurface this issue I made my own personal design. Please, please take it into consideration. I have discussed it in depth with my clanmates and they all support me on this incredible issue. Also they approve of the design, as I am in high hopes that you will as well.

Thank you for everything you've done for us, your players.

Ariden, representative of the SAC community.

The Lounge / Re: What did you name your ship and why?
« on: February 09, 2014, 12:25:14 am »
Pyramidion: Bridget Blindside (I already said why before)

Galleon: Skybound Wagoneer - because it reminds me of a big, giant wagon full of guns and people that is flying through the skies. So that explains the Wagoneer and the Skybound.

Junker: SG Squashboard. SG stands for Side-Guns, and Squashboard because the Junker is the squashed up deck of a ship and very skinny.

All the rest are professors. Because it makes them sound professional. And educated.

Spire: Professor Snorkel - because it is long like a snorkel.
Squid: Professor Squid - This was the original name I gave to it, and I couldn't change it to anything more creative. I have an attachment with this name <3 (I am a Squid pilot)
Mobula: Professor Jellyfish - Professor Marshmallow didn't fit. Either way, it looks like a jellyfish, anyone agree? Anyone? Anyone?
Golfish: Professor Tadpole - Named as a reminder of my childhood superhero: El Chavo. His superhero name was El Renacuajo Vengador (The Vengeful Tadpole)

"I'm just gonna squeeze in right here," when trying out new sections of the map with different ships.

"Guys that's an ally."

"I guess we'll just wait around here."

"I'm not sure what our ally is doing."

"SHIPHUG," when ramming an ally by accident.

"Sexychat," when I'm in a party with the same person I am captaining with so that we know the difference between 'c' and 'z' chat.

"Let's just go in there."

The Pit / Write a poem/rap song about the person above you!
« on: January 31, 2014, 06:47:37 pm »
So I remembered this game from an old forum I used to visit, and stole the idea :).

Basically you write a poem or a rap song about the person above you. You don't have to know them - it could be about their names or profile pictures.

Take it away!

General Discussion / Re: The only mid-join as engineer philosophy
« on: January 31, 2014, 07:51:33 am »
Adding onto this I'd like to suggest a flexibler option for the spectators to be able to join the matches... perhaps while they are spectating a button that says 'Join match!' and below it (__ spots available). When the press the button they see the spots that are available and can click on any one of these they chose.

Yes this so much.  I would love it if there were an easier way to join a match in progress from the spectator slot.  Sometimes I'll be spectating a match that some friends are in and a spot will open up mid match;  it would be nice if I could easily join it.
Unfortunately there is no way you could do this without it being abused. Why join a match in progress without hopping in spectator and seeing who is winning first? The losing team would never get any new players.

Perhaps it does not have to be immediate - for example, the person who entered spectator mode has to wait 3 or 4 minutes before entering the game. They have the option to wait before they join or leave, or simply stay spectating.
