Hey all

As of 2:33pm Eastern, there was an issue with the lobby where players were, and still are, unable to connect. We're looking into the problem at the moment, and we're going to then restart the servers to bring everything back online. Apologies for this issue- we'll get this fixed right away!

While flying on a Mobula, an enemy squid was placing mines beneath me, and shooting out my balloon so we'd plummet onto them. Annoying, but an effective tactic.

So ideally, as long as you can expect to land at least 61 of those 72 shots, Greased will outperform a full unload of heavy. Allowing an 85% accuracy rate to outperform the 100% accuracy rate of heavy. Obviously this is dependent upon gunner skill,
Greased doesn't have an 85% hit rate. Ships like the Junker have such a small hull profile and such a high density of components that it's literally impossible to land enough hits.

But what about hitting a Galleon, or any other ship with a larger profile? The exception seems to be the sleek design of the Junker, but not the rest. And, like Chrinus' conclusion- it depends on Gunner skill, and if he can use it, Greased will outperform a full unload of heavy.

Komodo Joe's racing avatar from Crash Team Racing for the PS1. CTR was one of my most favorite video games of all time, and is really the only racing game I've ever enjoyed. Plus, I loved Crash Bandicoot a ton when Naughty Dog still developed games for the series. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=AfM9L1YOUHE#t=39s

Komodo Joe is a boss racer from that game, and after you beat him, you could race as him. He was just awesome in every way, and had amazing racer stats, too... but he was only my second favorite character. My avatar was going to be either him, or my first favorite character from the series- Ripper Roo.

Didn't pick this one, though, cos I didn't like the avatar as much. He was so OP in that game...

Weapon loadout mixes seem a bit confusing and a headache to maintain.
We want each loadout to be sent in beforehand, so for those that are confused, we can check to see if a loadout is acceptable and give feedback. We can also try to reword the Medium and Light weapon rules if someone is having trouble understanding them.

Update: We have contacted Swallow about the Cogs, and he is going to cancel it for the day. On August 3rd (Saturday) at 10:30am eastern time, the tournament will take place, and there will be no Cogs match afterward.

Sadly, its going to be hard to get everyone crammed into the tournament. When we're trying to include the entire globe, some places will have rough times. I just hope that 7:30 is manageable, because this seems to be the best choice- earliest time is 7:30am, and the latest time seems to be about 11pm.
