I had some artistic talent as a child that developed some what in High school, but I never put the hours and hours and hours into practice to improve it.

This. I basically haven't progressed in artistic talent since my freshman year of college.

I have no idea how people manage to complete some of them

By playing for a long time. I spent ages at engineering level 6 because of unnatural achievements.

You can also request that your captain take a pyra if you have the balloon popping achievement. You can be the top deck engineer, gunning and watching the balloon. Find creative ways to work around it.

Buffing achievements are the worst, in my opinion.

I did a little doodling at work the other day. I am soooo out of practice, though. I've had an idea for a drawing for a while but I just cannot get proportions correct right now. ><

This group is designed for the research, development, and application of new, useful, and hilarious Harpoon tactics.
Fixed that for you.

Count me in.

The door to the tavern swung unceremoniously open as the engineer entered. A gust of stale, dry air accompanied her, pulling at what must've been a tidy braid hours prior. Her pale face was smudged with a combination of rust and dust that actually complimented the tint of her hair. She had common but pleasant features and the spark of youth in her eyes.

The white, ribbed turtleneck that she wore was surprisingly clean although the grooves of her long leather sleeves were filled in with dirt. The color of the sash that wrapped around her waist and that of her pants were indistinguishable from the sands that worked their way into every thread.

Charon's voice lingered still when she appeared, making him easy to spot sitting off by himself. As she strode through the crowd towards him, her eyes fixed on the ghost that he conversed with.

"Making friends now, are we?" She inquired with a smile, helping herself to the seat next to her gunner and motioning to the bartender to bring her a drink. As she removed her worn leather gloves, laced up and integrated into her sleeves, she turned her eyes to him. "The 'Omen's just about in order. All that's left is to soothe my exhaustion with a little ale and hope for favorable weather."

I felt like this when I tried gunning out, Jazzza. I think that we all have those nights.

I have probably used the phrases "We die here because of your incompetence" and "You have failed your teammates, I am ashamed to fly with you." more than is entirely healthy for playing a friendly vidoe game. Take this post as my confession that I am not always a nice guy and a downright a-hole at times.

I laughed at this when I probably shouldn't have.

Man, I really need to tell you guys about some more towns.

Yes, please! I've been looking at the map in the artbook and wondering about all the towns.

Let's see... Usually my matches with Vatic as captain are really ridiculous. We did a harpoon squid once, sniped a galleon through a hole in some wreckage on Duel at Dawn, actually damaging the galleon more than our own ship.  The other night everyone was a gunner with chem spray; the context is hard to convey on that one, though.

aa i see, so the problem seems to lie in the option to remain logged in even when you close the browser.

it would probbly be better to have it just logg you in atomaticly when you select that option instead of being logged in all the time

Yeah, we're working on ways to sync at other times than when you log in so we're not requiring you to log in and out all the time. The forever login is a nice convenience, it would be a shame to hinder it. I'll let you know when I have some more news.

Logging out and logging back in fixed it for me. Thanks for the work!

I would wager that more new players were lost to connection issue/game glitches than "stacked games." I endure them, and as do the rest of you here, because we love the game. We know that the developers are working hard to iron out the kinks that such a large volume of players presents, so, we are patient. New players who haven't really gotten into the game or over the learning curve are much less likely to be tolerant of those issues. I haven't been in a single game where people were vocal in which they weren't coaching new players. (Unless you count the games where my crew is all Russian; I couldn't tell you what in the hell they're saying).

I have about as much evidence to support my theory as you have to support yours. Next time that the game freezes or lags in a bizarre way I'll go ahead and screencap it for you so we're on even footing.

I have a difficult time not picking "Sarin" but for its name alone.
