I didn't realise that the games I decided to come in on today were part of this fight night thing. I knew it was being streamed but just assumed it was an impromptu thing. Huh.

Anyway, was fun times. Thanks to everyone who played for the games.
Those artemis's were a pain :p

It was indeed a very excellent and intense match. I'm glad that if we had to lose the top spot, it went to a duck team who proved themselves to be worthy foes.

You guys earned it. The Raft and the Brood are some of the fiercest competition around, and we're glad that we were able to help foster such high standard of competitive play - and you've all really come into your own.

Don't rest yet, though. We'll be seeing you guys in the tournament!

For now, good luck in defending your spot, and most importantly, have fun!

Quack Quack, it's still very much duck time.

Ah you guys finally have a clan thread.
I've been meaning to tell you guys that I had a blast at our round robin scrim the other day. You guys are tough customers and made for intense matches. You really wouldn't know that you guys are relatively new to the scene. I see you guys just getting better and better - which is scary and awesome because you already rival most teams in skill.

Looking forward to more rumbles down the line!

And also official forum congrats for wining the Flotsam Campaign. It was awesome watching you guys play. Very tight and exciting race between you guys and Merry Men. That charge at the end of fjords to win the match and take the campaign was amazing.

Hey Cake!
I'm also addressing Overwatch here, but they don't have a clan thread? So please be sure to let them know this regards them too, if anyone speaks to any of them.

I just wanted to say I had a blast playing with all you fantastic people/pastries in our round robin scrim today. Terrific matches - apparently they were quite exciting from the spectators point of view, and they were pretty intense from the player side of things, too!

I hope we get to play some more :)
Until next time guys, take care!

100 is awesome. My biggest win streak is 50 :(
Those were tough games, too. We had a lot of fun and I hope we get to play against DPA some more in the future.

A single thread would be way too busy for all the clans. And most threads in this section have short lives anyway.

We're currently trying to figure out how to get in touch with deadpool so we can issue him and his clan a challenge. Let's do it.

Caylin do you have any contact details?

Why not? It's not like a whole new thread is being made for every single scrim. Plus it's a much more official record than just organising stuff off-site and hoping everyone remembers the schedule.

Better for them to have their own threads than to clutter up currently existing ones with scrim organising.

Damn man I'm sorry that you, your mother and your cousin had to go through that.
I'm glad to hear she's stable now and hope that the cause of it is nothing serious.

Even today, with the campaign running as smoothly and as efficiently as it did, with 2 simultaneous streams going on, and with so many teams competing, the total run time of all the matches went for what, something over 2 hours? That number would be at least doubled if there was a double elimination bracket or best of 3.

Since this was a 6 day event and international timezones were in play, draining the endurance of all the competitors in one day isn't entirely ideal.

Plus, in my opinion, first to 5 kills makes the battle for the map titles more intense, urgent, and exciting!

I'm sad the campaigns over.
It was a lot of fun to watch and to participate in as a Duck Buddy.
Good job to everyone involved, both everyone involved in the organisation and running of the event, and the competitors! Teams that put in even 1 or 2 days is a big deal, and it's awesome that teams did as many as they could. The fact that some put in for either the full 6 days or near enough, is fantastic.

That moment when we say we always knew Sammy B.T would kill it and it went without saying.

There. :p

Seriously though, consistently great job, Sammy.
