I have a method for determining who is a duck that is statistically sound.
Go into a room, and quack.
Those who quack back, are ducks.

I still do, with the free time I have in the 5 minutes it takes a galleon to turn to face an enemy. Something to do.

Holy crap when you showed me the original and said it needs a bit of changing I had no idea you'd do that.
Good job.

I vote that if we get some kind of team crest, for the entirety of the Ducks, not just Cogs teams, we make it this.  Is there something we can put it on?

My Galleon is called the Galacducka.
As a Duck, I'm pretty pleased with that one.

Hello Pastas!
Just wanted to stop by say good game for our match at the Cogs. You guys put in a solid effort and as you can see from the stream you made us work for every point. It was a great effort and I hope you're proud of all your accomplishments over these past weeks, you've earned them.

Finally, it was a pleasure to play against such a bunch of really cool players, and the best sports around.
Until the next rumble!

lolol true, I definitely think he didn't know what was going on, he must have been new, but I can see how one ship getting all seven kills in under five minutes can seem suspicious if you've never played before.

Whenever I'm new to a game and I see someone obliterate a whole bunch of people in really short order I tend to hold my tongue because, chances most likely are that this person simply knows what they're doing.

And maybe they should be learned from.

Now, if fire is raining down from the sky at the same time, then yeah I might start to think something is up.

I'd say more grueling and intense. But I don't mean that in a bad way. Both teams were trading really heavy blows on each other. It must have been a real test of endurance. Those kind of matches aren't easy and need a lot of focus.
Good effort everyone. You pleased the Howard today. We will all be spared his wrath.

It's okay. People will always cry foul when they don't understand how a game works and it is used against them to full effect.

I remember, years ago, when Jedi Knight 2 was at it's peak, I used to play multi player death matches with Squash. There was a force power called 'force sense' that makes you 100% immune to being hit by a sniper rifle beam. Your character does a little 'twitch' and you dodge the laser. Well, we always had that power on, and after a few attempts by a sniper at killing either of us. He confidentially called us some variation of cheating hacking scum and that he's like, totally going to report us to the admin and stuff. It was pretty amusing.

My point is: Stuff like this happens, and it's usually pretty funny. ;)
Being called an exploiter by the uninformed usually means you are doing something right.

I am all for this. Unfortunately I don't know how available I will be to participate in this, but it sure as hell doesn't need me to be an awesome success.

Not me, Skrimskraw!
League of Legends is a pretty overrated game, and this is from someone who's played mobas.

Oh, I don't know about that... Here's a quote from a leading Steampunk Paleontologist.

"You see... Try to imagine yourself in the Steampunk Period. You get your first look at this "duck" as you enter a clearing. He moves like a bird, because, well, it's a duck, and you keep still because you think that maybe his visual acuity is based on movement like T-Rex – he'll lose you if you don't move. But no, not ducks. You stare at him, and he just stares right back. And that's when the attack comes. Not from the front, but from the side, from the other duck you didn't even know was there. Because ducks are pack hunters, you see, they use coordinated attack patterns and they are out in force lately. He slashes at you with this – a six-inch claw, like a razor, on the middle toe. He doesn't bother to bite your jugular like a lion, oh no … he slashes at you here [makes slashing motions below the child's chest] or here … [above the groin] or maybe across the belly, spilling your intestines. The point is … you are alive when they start to eat you. So you know … try to show a little respect."
- Dr. Adam Grant.

See you on Saturday!
