Gameplay / Heavy Carronade

After a good long time running a heavy carronade on the goldfish (the only ship it's really viable on), I've come to determination that it's almost entirely useless. At the rate it fires and reloads, you need to be firing constantly to keep an enemy down. Now compare that to the small carronade, and you barely have a reason to take the heavy. The only thing the heavy carronade has is component damage but even then, you're a sitting target while you balloon lock. Why waste the slot when the light is just as good?

So as you may or may not know, Muse has a booth at PAX East. For those of you who are attending it would be cool to stop by and say hello. I'm attending Saturday and Sunday but most of my crew is only there on Sunday.

Gameplay / Wind on Water Hazard

Now that we have some more 3v3 Deathmatch maps I can finally get back to playing my favorite map Water Hazard. However it's changed since I've last played. The wind forces the whole match east onto the edge where it stays until the end. Now I like the idea of wind but there is currently no indicator of it (that I've noticed) and the way it operates on Water Hazard is no fun at all for a map that used to be about flying through the pillars and hiding behind the fluffy clouds .
