We'll definitely make sure the warnings are more direct next time to avoid any confusion.

Hey Ivan,

All text chat in Guns of Icarus is recorded.  Those were simply included for your viewing only since we were grabbing all chat that was flagged.

I won't post the entire chat log here for your privacy and you can look at it again in your PM, but you responded to Metafive's requests to stop.
My apologies that a "I'm not asking again." From a Dev was not clear that action was going to be taken.

The kick came before the day suspension and after getting kicked you came back and continued with the same actions (and worse as included in the chat log.)  After the kick if you had not continued no other action would have been taken because the hope is you would understand that the sort of behavior you chose to keep displaying will not be tolerated.

@ QKO and Mr. Ace Rimmer
This was opened because we really wanted to hear back from IvanPBF and he did respond.
This goes against what we normally do and the Moderators were completely in the right for locking it.
We overrode them (and poorly communicated it to both you guys and the mods) because it seemed like the best course of action to get a conversation started.
So please direct all yelling about running afoul of procedure my way.  I commend the Mods for their quick action and dedication.

@IvanPBF
He's at PAX, but I shot him an email to make sure he's checking his PMs while he's there so he'll send over the chat log asap.

Hey Pickle,

Quick join won't actually put you into an active game and if you're under lv 3 it will choose to put you into a proving ground game over a regular match.
If that happens to anyone I urge you passionately to have them grab their log and send it into feedback@musegames.com because we can't reproduce it in the office (just tested it out.)
We haven't had any reports of it doing that so far, but we'll treat any we get very seriously.

Actually last patch was more of optimization and bug fixing.  Next patch is going to be the feature heavy one.
Sorry we haven't been inspiring, but feel free to shoot us an email at feedback@musegames.com with your thoughts.  This isn't saying you can't keep discussing them here, just wanted to give you the direct line.

I can't promise we see every forum thread, but I can promise Howard and I answer every email by hand.

I like it.
I know server messages are already reported in there, but I'm assuming that you're talking about an event list that you can use to join games through.

Want to know why something is the way it is, want to know why or how we got into making games, or even what our favorite color is?  Just ask away!
We'll try to answer as many as possible tomorrow

The chat will happen at 3 pm EST on our twitch channel:

Because I didn't explain it well.  That google doc is for your use
List your team in the Apply your team tab.  It's open for anyone to adjust to after I've approved the information I'll copy it over to the protected one.
Also use the open scrimmage tab to set up and organize times to fight other teams.
Since it's an open document I'll have  a record to copy it to I'll save just in case.

Dunes is being replaced by Fjords due to overwhelming demand.
The cap no matter what is 5.  We don't want one team to win like a massive player made tournament and have 20 points and be untouchable by everyone else.  The 5 cap will have some people sacrifice points for too many wins, but we'll still be funding tournaments with prizes and they can make up titles for them.

Also, this is live now!
It was brought to my attention I didn't explain this well.  You can send in your high level play wins as soon as you get them.
Friday is so we have a more open way to talk about all questions and if there's anything we broke we'll only be a couple of days in before we get called out on it live.

It Starts now!

Everything you need to start rocking and rolling is right here.

You will be able to edit some tabs, that's so it is easy copy and paste for me.  I will be taking the approved parts and copying over to a protected tab (that you can view, but not edit) just in case someone of a less reputable nature stumbles onto it.
It is a risk and I am trusting you guys, but you  all have proven to be worthy and stalwart allies.
If the system fails for any reason we will find another one.
We're in this one together.

Feel free to ask questions I will try to stop in and answer them as possible.
There will also be a live FAQ this Friday (8/9) at 3 PM EST on Qwerty's channel.

The main goal of this system is to promote and help facilitate high skill play.  Any tournament can be run any way it likes and it's victories can be counted as points.
Skirmishes are to allow high skill fights to happen whenever two teams can get together.  You want to beat each other brains out after a nice lunch?  Go ahead! You feel the bloodlust at midnight and need a worthy opponent? Have at it!

As time goes on we'll integrate the system  more into the website, but we didn't want to have you wait around while we work out those little technical bits.
If you spot any glaring bugs, inconsistencies, or any part that could be explained better please let me know so we can get it fixed up.

Remember to list your team in the Apply your team tab.  It's open for anyone to adjust to after I've approved the information I'll copy it over to the protected one.
Also use the open scrimmage tab to set up and organize times to fight other teams.
Since it's an open document I'll have  a record to copy it to I'll save just in case.

The System is live as of this moment so if I get a screenshot of two clans fighting 5 minutes from now it counts if they want it to.
Remember to send in the screenshots to competitive@musegames.com ~Morbie

We broke the dev build access at the moment.  Make sure you sign up for the group so I have one list to go through when we start adding people back in.
