There are now 20 Bully Boys!

Also, please change our "Other Assets" to the following:

Other Assets: We are the week 2 Hungry Ducks champions! We have one team registered and ready to go for the Cogs with a second team seeming increasingly likely. We have a very active steamgroup to help members stay up to date and a proper voice chat server is in the works.

Hey dragonmere! We're very interested in more members who want to play competitively! Please send me a private message telling me your Steam name and a bit about yourself, or just post here if you're an open book personality-wise. Otherwise, add me and Gilder as friends and catch us in-game sometime. We're looking forward to hearing from you!

Thank you very much to the Ducks for their kudos and giving us the opportunity to play in such a high level game. You guys were very friendly before and after the matches. Those were two very close, very intense bouts, and The Brood pushed us to our absolute limits! My fingers were shaking at times as I tried to evade the constant barrage of fire. The matches were also very fun to watch back on the Duck's stream afterwards. It was two really aggressive teams in an out and out dogfight to the finish, and the commentary really brought it to life. I'm really proud of all the other Bully Boys who participated in the match.

We humbly accept the great accolade of Hungry Ducks Champions!

Bully for the Ducks and quacks for the Bullies!

The Bully Boys Recruitment Thread

Do you like to take on all-comers in dynamic daredevil dogfights? Bully for you, sir! You might want to join The Bully Boys. We're a motley collection of some of the hard-fightingest greasemonkeys, gun-nuts and flyboys ever assembled. We believe being tested is the best way to improve ourselves and we're always looking for good competition.

We love a battle in the skies, but we also like to relax and share a good laugh, and we welcome the oddballs, eccentrics and jokers. We're forming a team for tournament play, with others being discussed, so The Bully Boys are worth considering if you want a piece of that action.

If you're an experienced player and want to be assured you'll have some hard-working, communicative crew to call on, the Bullies can provide. Likewise, if you're a new player, but are willing to listen and eager to learn, we'll be very happy to show you the ropes!

We're a fairly laid back clan. We have no clan tags, and if you join the Bullies and it isn't for you, we won't bully you into staying! Though we are competitive, we're fundamentally a group of pals who like to have fun with this awesome game, and we want everyone else to have fun with it too.

So if you think you'd like to become a Bully Boy (or Girl!) shoot me or Gilder a message, or catch one of the Bullies in game. Though we're open for everyone to apply, we'd like to get to know you a little bit before we welcome you into our clan.

Hope to see you in the skies, and have a bully day!

It's time to find out where you stand in the eyes of
The goi community. Ok the game is simple post in the forum
Salute me or shoot me
Either someone will hit the salute button or quote ur post
And write shoot.  You can give a reason if u want it's up to you
Maybe u yell at someone when they were new who knows

IM first lol this is gonna hurt lol

Salute me or shoot me

Salute! You were cool to me when I was new! You told me not to charge off and get myself killed. Even when I picked a spire and charged ahead at full throttle you didn't yell at me, even though it'd be quite understandable if you did XD

your group is open for the public, meaning I can read everything you write on it ;)

Peeking in on our steamgroup? Pervert :P The Gents, Pastas and Ducks have public groups so I reckoned being public was ok. We're in such an early stage I'm not sure what role the steamgroup should really have. Maybe I should make it private, but it seems ok the way it is for now unless the members want it changed.

Also, thank you for clearing up the confusion Shinkurex :)

Could you put our clan in the OP, please? Here's the info.

Clan name: The Bully Boys
Founders: Brick Hardcastle and Gilder
Clan Tag: We have no tags. Call your ship whatever you want!
Number of Members: 14
Website: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/TheBullyBoys
Location: Global
Looking For: We want players who will listen to their captain (or co-captain), and try their best. As long as you can do that, you’re level 10 at whatever you’re doing as far as we’re concerned! We’re a loose, easy-going clan looking for cool guys (and girls) who want to work with others to get better at this game. We frown on abusive behaviour, but encourage having a laugh. The Bully Boys look to give experienced captains good crew to call on and give new players a great place to learn!
Other Assets: N/A right now
Recruitment Thread: Coming soon!

Hello everyone. I'm Brick Hardcastle and I've been playing Guns of Icarus since November of last year. Back then I bought the four pack for a few of my friends and they played with me occasionally. They didn't love the game quite as much as me and I'd struggle to get them to crew with me as much as I wanted. Because of this, there was a period I did not play so much. However, eventually I just thought I'd throw myself into playing it alone, and as I've played, I've made lots of great new friends!

I've always enjoyed flight sim games such as the Ace Combat series, and I enjoy a good old fashioned dogfight as a pilot. There's nothing quite as satisfying as trying to outfly a skilled pilot, using every skill you have to get in a better position. Among the great pilots I've played with I'd give a particular shout out to Gilder who has given me some hair-raising battles in the sky and some strong victories as a co-captain. Also, thanks to my wild buddy Rowan who is always fun to fly with and another skilled squiddy captain. Oro is one seriously cool cat and a brilliant crew member. Of course, my chief engineer Zirrrus always keeps my ship fixed and indulges my addiction to moonshine with admirable dedication!

Thank you to all the other awesome people I've played with who've helped me get better at the game, and who I've shared a laugh with over voice chat. You know who you are :P

I hope to get more involved in the great GOI community!

I am Brick Hardcastle and I am an addict!

Yesterday I played GOI for most of the day. Afterwards I was walking around thinking about how I needed to switch to phoenix claw to make sharp turns.

Hi Meriwether! It was great having you on my ship today. Good to have another brit who knows what words like "nicked" and "plonker" mean.

Hope to see you manning my guns again soon.
