I'v been keeping up with this thread (as I usually do all threads on this forum) because I think its funny when a bunch of different people give their opinion.

Also, I find it interesting what everyone's opinion is since this is such a small community.

Also, since I know who count lug bug is, I want to give my opinion on the matter some context.

spyglass is an equipable(sp) item. Here is how I use it: I press 4, then spam click. I don't zoom in. I literally do not have the zoom in button bound on my keybinds.

that is such a waste of space... I might as well just not press 4 and just click...

at least this compass thing gives me some immersion.

However, I do agree that it will take up a spot on the keybind options. This is something I did not consider.
Also, however, I wouldn't mind seeing it as a thing on the captains helm spot as an extra bonus.  - kind of like the current altimeter.

Honestly, if not for the keybind thing, I would prefer an actual compass.

Also, however, and totally contradictory to my feelings on a compass - remember, this top of the screen U.I feature also shows ally and enemy altitude position relative to your own. So, Yea, I actually do use it for that. and also, yea, a compass would not be able to accomplish that part of the information.

knowing relative altitude is kinda important.

so.... yea. penis.

I don't know how common that is in other games, but I feel it is a defining factor in our culture.

Its not common in nearly any other competetive game. The only other time I have seen this as a possiblity is in Starcraft and BroodWar - where the lobby was set up that everyone could "talk" (text) to eachother.

But yea, fuck you scrub.

I didn't realize people had issues with them.

My issue with night maps is that they are not dark enough on my monitor.

I can see far just like any other map. As long as the boat is in render distance I can see it.

If its the case that we all have varying brightness then yea, it might need to be adjusted somehow.

I was dicking around on it just now.

My biggest issue is the two front guns seem too hard to use without sacraficing a lot.

I think moving the balloon down behind the pilot would solve most issues.

An engineer should be able to take care of the hull and three engine from the mid deck decently enough. A dude on top can take care of the top left engine and use the main gun on the right if need be. They can also jump down to help with hull if necessary.

But I have never actually been on the boat so this is coming from 10 minutes of practice mode.

I think the response will be passworded lobbies.

That is sort of what this idea is[ish]. Although part of me likes this idea, the other part does not like the complications that may exist to get someone on my boat.

Instead, I would rather there be an easier way to gather people into a lobby. Here are some ideas for this: being able to convert the lobby from 2v2 to 3v3 and back again would be a start. Being able to see everyone online with a filter by level would be another help. Having a more prominant notification alert would greatly help in a lot of ways. Being able to copy/paste in-game would be nice, too.
