It is gonna be a while before the thing is anywhere near ready, for now I'm prototyping the hull. Then I've got to figure out the best way to attach everything (as far as I can tell, the hull and upper deck are both strung from the baloon frame, no solid attachments. this cannot be done in lego. I'm working on it though.

As for floating, I think it is well established that the ships in game would have some serious trouble irl. That said, if somebody makes one, I wanna see it. Actually.... I've got a friend with a 3d printer.. combine that with some model airplane engines..... hmm...

hmm... rangefinder, I hadn't thought of that. I'll have to give it a try. the project in question is a lego pyramidion btw (at time of posting I had not chosen a ship yet)

Hey, just wondering. Is there a place that has the dimensions of the ships? Meters is preferable but feet works too. I'm working on a project and while it would be possible to estimate, having the correct sizes would be nice. Thanks!

Harpoon is largely useless, but I played a bit ago, my spire had a hwacha and 3 harpoons. Just for fun. Had some cakes, was a 3 on 3, we got 2 harpoon kills and a few hwacha kills. Granted the other team was underdog by a mile but still, was one of the most entertaining matches I've done

Doesn't hold a candle to the other night when I had sleep delerium (playing for 6 hours, twas 2AM) and had two crew members who were... quite drunk. The only coherent crew member decided it would be entertaining to have us on a 4 gunner, 5 flare gun mobula. THAT was entertaining.

But yeah, Harpoon == terrible but when you manage to use it effectively, it is quite funny.

I'm still a novice, so I only use three ships so far, and I like to change their names a lot. I make their names as references. If you can tell me what they reference, I'll give you a cookie.

No.

We're in Airships that would need balloons ten times their actual size to actually be able to fly. We can use random bursts of magical power to jump four meters high. We literally repair crap by hitting it really hard with a metal object. By this games logic, the wind would cool the guns down instantly.

This may be the best way to describe the game I've seen yet.
