George walks into the room, looks around, shakes his head and walks back out again.

George picks himself off the ground, wiping a layer of dust off himself.
"I...I think we did..."

General Discussion / Re: What do you name your ships and why?
« on: July 12, 2015, 07:27:50 pm »
All of my airships are named after the airships in my Steampunk novel...that I am yet to finish (14,000 words so far, it's little, I know.)
Spire- The Man O' War, a guard ship used for guarding against sky pirates.
Junker- The Bolted Nut, A 'Snatcher' ship, basically petty thieves, much like lesser sky pirates, very poor.
Galleon- The Primrose, A pirate ship, that's it.
Goldfish- The Sultry Siren, a shuttler airship, much like a taxi service.
Squid- The Hawkeye, another shuttler airship, but with better weaponry, more expensive.
Mobula- The Manta, similar to the spire, another guard airship, but used as more of a floating barracks rather than an actual offensive craft.
Pyramidion- The Burning Blubber, a ship primarily used for hunting Sky-Whales, and Leviathan whales, (like Sky-Whales but much, much larger.)

"I am not an Automaton! But...thanks, I guess..."
George picks up the oil and applies it.

A dry rattle comes from the inside of George's voice box, possibly a laugh.
"Maybe, maybe...just remember that I don't have half of my organs now...you can't take them out to improve them..."

"I could try I guess, too dangerous really, if I accidentally pull it out I could die...it's not just that though..."
George pulls up his shirt, showing that the majority of his lower torso has been replaced with machinery, and where his heart would normally be there is what appears to be a motor of some sort. Upon closer inspection, his leg appears to be prosthetic. George takes off one of his gloves to show a robotic hand, and removes his goggles to show a rapidly moving red optic lens."
George starts to explain without being asked.
"Airship crash, about 5 years back. It's amazing those scavs managed to get me out of there alive, but I'm pretty sure they thought I was dead, just trying to loot my armour. Still, when they realised that I was alive they sent me to some Angelan doctor that was staying in the next town over, don't let anyone ever tell you that there aren't any good Arashi. He fixed me up free of charge, though I'm pretty sure he was experimenting with me...still...here I am..."

George pulls down his shirt collar to reveal a rusty bit of machinery implanted directly onto his neck. With some effort, he turns a knob on the side of it onto 'English'. George gulps.
"I speak a little German, I was educated in Anglea in my youth. My parents wanted me to learn the education of their youth ... "
George glances round at the horrified glances at the implant, and waits for someone to ask a question.

George raises his hand.
"Ich spreche ein Bisschen Deutsch, Ich war in Anglea in meiner Jugend erzogen. Meine Eltern wollten mich lernen, die Erziehung ihrer Jugend..."

George transforms into a writhing mass of tentacles, much like Hermaous Mora.
