Because of Koali's cold, hard nerves of steel and determination not to press the red buttons, the following happens.
Time, space and existence itself begins to phase out and travel in all sorts of directions at all sorts of speed. Everything travels away from everything, simultaneously. Light is dark, dark is light, late is early, early is late, and only one single thing remains stationary. It is the original button. The button that started it all. But does it have the same consequences? What sense is driving us to be so sure that it is the original button? no one knows. The only clue we have is the small label, "Original button." Whatever it means, this is definitely the original button. Could it be the one thing to set the universe back in its place? Surely it must be. This button is here and remains for a reason. Press it, darn it, press it!

[Koali] "Well, I'm sure we've got water around here somewhere... I mean, thats what we flush the toilets with, so... worse case scenario you ca–oh, never mind. I'll be right back." Mr. Goggles hurries through a door behind the bar and returns with a mug of water. He strides lazily over to where Koali sits. "I'm curious as to how exactly you see through the gun sights with your height and all, or lack thereof. No offense, sir." He says, as he slaps the tall mug down. "You didn't ask for ice. Plus, we don't have any, so I hope this makes do." He gently walks back to the counter.
[ShadedExalt] "I've got a few ships I'm working on. Happen to fly my own squid class, actually. Very fun. Very dangerous." He says, taking another sip. "The Red Rocket. That's what I call it."
[MightyKeb] "Spire, huh? I love to work on those things. Quite a thrill knowing you're riding in one of the easiest things to shoot down. Quite a reward knowing you're the one that kept it alive, too. Not to mention the potential for acrobatics on the thing. It is an art to jump down to the engines without A. falling off the ship or B. breaking a leg. Quite fun, actually." Mr. Goggles pours himself a small glass of moonshine and begins to sip at it. "Actually, I'm sure we have time for a story or two." He says, nodding towards MightyKeb.

"Ahhh. hopefully it'll fix the problem we've been having with captains around here. Any kid off the street could stick a pin to himself and fly one of those things. Now it'll be a 'ell of a lot more dangerous for them. Seems times are coming where anyone can call themselves a commander. This weaker wood might put those snot-nosed kids in there place. Separate the captains from the boys." He wipes off a few smudges on the counter. "At least I hope it does. What about yourself? Are you a captain, engineer, gunner, commoner, trader? How's it effected you?

[ShadedExalt and MightyKreb] "Right then, 'tis alright. I can't see you very well, either. Tit for tat, I suppose." He says, chuckling, adjusting his goofy prescription goggles. He nods to the band leader and leans down, searching the lines of bottles under the counter for anything labeled "moonshine." He finds one he fancies, grabs it by the neck and picks it up over the bar and into the light so he can look at it properly. "CAA-rohh-seeeen... Hmm. That can't be right." He leans down again, searches for a few more minutes, and finally produces the item he'd been looking for. "Moonshine. Here we go." He pours two glasses of the stuff. "Enjoy." He slides the glasses over the surface of the counter and to each gentleman sitting there.
"Yeah, well, we're a bit new to town [not sure where we are, yet] and folks just don't seem to know of us too well... Looks like your options on conversations are a bit limited for the time being. What brings you two around? Captain looking for a crew? Crew looking for a captain? Seems that's all it is these days. People needing to get paid. People looking to pay."

*Mr. Goggles is shoved haphazardly through a wooden, swinging door behind the bar. He looks back and yells to an unknown character behind the scenes, "..Wait, don't I need some kind of training for this? Aren't you going to I.D. me or something?!" He yells, tripping amongst the various bottles of moonshine and rum. Before he receives any kind of answer the door closes, again. Mr. Goggles still wears his orange engineer overalls and ridiculous goggles. He looks completely out of his comfort zone, but resolves to step into his new position, anyways. He looks awkwardly around, searching for any customers, until he spots the small gentleman stepping into the tavern. "Hello! What can I do for ya?" He says, smiling as large as he can manage. His face remains that way until he receives an answer.

Favorite Part of the Game: An excellent engi crew performing flawlessly timed repairs to save ships from continuous balloon popping (Setting the rebuild up so that it completes right AFTER an enemy's post-blow shot, that way the engi can get another repair or two in before the enemy can make another shot).
Faction: Anglean

Hello! I am new to the forums and am absolutely obsessed with the game ever since I got it a few days ago. My favorite class is the engineering class, so I decided I would relate my forum pic to my in-game personality. Thus, this engineering icon that you see before you was born. What do you think?
The close up is a little messy, but that was intentional. I knew I would just be using it as an Icon, so didn't mind the blockyness up close. All I had to use is the App Store's "Paint 2" (Free Version)
Feel free to use for whatever reason. I just asked that I get credit if someone asks who made it.
