Just post ideas of random shorts/machinimas to do with guns.

*cue meet the medic tune (i just prefer this one best)
*caption on screen is meet the lumberjack.

Cut to pilot spotting enemy ship.
Captain signals, enemy sight ahead from third person gunner view.
*gunner view it is seen that it captain spot is used.
engie 1 is shown using spyglass
*in gunner view enemy ship gets spotted (named "Titanic Hindenburg")
engie 1: enemy spotted
engie 2 using range finder.
*gunner view
engie 2: enemy at 3000m
gunner: firing!
*lumberjack firing sound effect.

the balloon just vanishes. Not popped. just outright removed from the model.

As in the ones in smash where you can toggle to hide the HUD, select animations, custom backgrounds, etc. pretty much all you expect from model viewers.

And its selectable for any player you select (current class only) and for your own any class you select. Ships too!

Also! the ability to upload player models as well as Guns of Icarus to SFM. The explosion of promotional videos guys. Hell we could actually create machinimas like red vs blue but with cinematic quality!

With the Icarus as the center piece.

It is a giant subterranean hanger (with ceiling lights) that harbours a fleet of ships and planes found in Flight of Icarus (or as many say guns of icarus original). Creating a maze/grid-like like map with many nooks and crannies and gaps made by missing ships.

I say the size would be about as big as either duels or canyons (if the game can handle all the assets).

Because it is indoors, there is only hard cover and no clouds.

All the ships are held in place by giant girders and beams with docking bays that attaches the ships into walkways. Some of them have collapsed to make way for ships to move.

Ideal for mobile ships like squids but still has a few open spaces that can be used by galleons.

Spots are made and easily shaken.



each little docking bay i imagine looks like this. With ships suspended and latched into place by claws that hold them there. But from below instead of above like a ship in a bottle.

So many ships have little horns and pointing bits clearly meant to do piercing dmg.
But does it actually exist or did it ever exist?

Awhile ago I heard a thing called needling where chute vent stomping with a spire caused instant death. The balloon would pop (like full health to popped) and the hull would follow.

And then ground and ram dmg would kill.

But on the contrary, goldfish has a horn but I've never popped a balloon with a balloon ram besides my own (hence I always ram with hull and with those I do pop if I ram direct to balloon with expected dmg to me regardless of whether i ram the needle or the side of balloon of a goldfish)

So lil bouldy came up with the simple idea of the new reload mechanics being a gunner exclusive ability and everyone else uses the old reload rules.

What tactics and viability does this idea have for the meta of the game and the role of the gunner?
Compare what this new gunner uses is, to the gunner we all know and apparently prefer less than a decent engie.

One thing I do see for it? No more gun camping. The gunner can now be an active member of the crew, helping prep guns like an engie does chem cycles.

Whether a gunner doing reload cycles is ideal or not though... I struggle to fathom.

Iunno... kind of like a freakish sampling of several voices from the community.

One player takes 1 signal each.

Sex, voice type, quality, etc.  doesn't matter. So long as it has entertainment value.

Also dibs on enemy sight below. Very proud of my "the enemy is beneath me" line.

And we all agree that it will be uploaded for free.

I got bored so I asked Howard to ask Jerry (who is currently passed out from implementing the update) to reset my lvl but keeping all my assets, achieves, titles, mmr, etc.

Which brought up their playing with the idea of some sort of prize for getting full 45.

I expect the reset to occur within 24 hours from now.

But yes...
