I don't know, besides Dunes I rarely see sniper as the popular choice. And even in Dunes, its more of a vet vs noobs kinda build because of the clear lack of any real cover, decent sniper crews can cut apart brawlers with barely any trouble and pilots'only worry about positioning is point the correct direction.

What would need to be done to increase popularity of sniper guns while maintaining the balance or even make it even more balanced if possible?

Only thing that comes to mind personally is the fact that AI apparently can't snipe worth a damn. In fact they did have a general nerf in repair speed to before but thats another issue.

(Yes I'm stuck on sniping achieves)

I mean just changing skin tones and stuff, just looks like a person progressively going towards black face.

What about some azn faces, black faces (maybe some sell an afro because I want an afro and a set of dreads). Kinda like the dark souls thing on the faces. It shows a basic outline of some sorta race.

Might include interesting lore fluff too. So we can see a Anglean wearing Baronie clothing and etc.

But ya just the general idea right here, that being said the dark souls faces are kinda boring in terms of dynamic variety (and pointless seeing as you either wear a helm or constantly hallow).

A kitchen full of staff. You got the head chef, the dish washer, the assistant cook (sammich maker) and the waitress.

One person screws up and the whole thing fulls apart. So when I hear this talk with noobs being all "its only a game."

Its that eternal problem of getting a position in an entry level job where people ask for experience in a job where you apply to get experience.

I just applied to a few, hoping harassing Keyvias is called experience. Plus I do have a dev key for the dev app and do wanna do some beta testing (when it's finally needed), guess that counts as being a beta tester?

But yeah... how do you get experience in a job you haven't got professional experience in?


As for my realistic chances. I ain't getting my hopes up.

Just a random thought.

After looking at this stamina thing.

What would happen if you get shot and like jumping off the ship you blackout and respawn? (suffice to say flamers don't count).

Dat merc shot that knocks out the pilot for like 5 seconds. Maybe even put it into a special kind of ammo as opposed to a whole new blanket mechanic.

Like concussion ammo. Less dmg on ship by like half (range too?) but has ability to KO crew.


hell it could either be an ammo that mimic loch in nature where it gives only 1 shot (but no gun dmg on shot) or maybe it could be an extra attribute of loch.

Unless those very obvious rope bridges are made of spider webs, any person with common sense would know an airship would shred those bridges.

Plus water hazard is a terrible map for me to load in, taking a full 30 seconds after match start to load in (fatal in a 3 v 3). Removing those damn bridges might help matters.

After finally giving gay of thrones a go (god its so boring), I got to the bit where that cripple kid learned about the noble houses and their symbol and words.

So... let's establish where the various clans of guns lie in terms of ideology. No real limit to how many mantras a clan can have. But they do have to be mantras, lil nuggets of wisdom (or bollocks, whatever) that you feel is associated with your respective clan. Dun wanna be hearing no long ass pledges or oaths.

As for the AI clan?

Will there ever be a time when I can wear the AI costume? I liked noob mistaking my clan as actual AI players in the old days.

Headgear can be not included so ppl can tell who areactually AI. (thats what workshop is for)

I'm sure you've all seen it.

You have your crew all set and match starts and bam. Some random powder monkey has graced us in the last second of lobby time to fk everything up.

There really needs to be a measure where if someone joins in the match, the lobby timer gets added like 20 secs to set that new crewmate up. (or in alot of cases, spam that git with reccommended build until he complies-or otherwise I'm swearing like a sailor the whole game). On the 60 or 50 second mark I mean.

Plus when a captain presses ready. MM locks players out of crew slots when the timer reaches 30 seconds. (this helps get matches starting faster)

And when people join mid-game they are forced to take on a recommended build (plus the game should detect that build even if the tools are in the wrong order given by that recommendation but has all the right tools are presently equipped). Hell ammo types can be subjective. But for the love of god a ship is as good as dead unless a crew member has the correct engie tools on hand.

(this measure doesn't counter powder monkeys joining in mid game wen I already have a gunner but baby steps eh)

As for that above issue. Reccomended build should represent a full crew. Meaning, if the game detects that you are a gunner and there is already a gunner (s) slot used up. You must be an engie or pilot (ONLY if the ship has no pilot).


e.g. My reccomended builds usually follows on a typical pyra

Gunner with wrench, spy glass
Engie full repair
engie buff kit.

If I already have a gunner and I have an engie.

They must join as an engie with one of the two engie builds (a choice between the two I reccomend). Ammo types are whatever they want but piloting tools and engie tools (this my highest priority) are a must have before joining.

because the game detects that my ship crew build is gunner, engie and engie. 1 gunner is used. 1 engie is used. So only one spot for an engie is allowed. If you do this. You can MM people into matches mid game.







I miss my AI crew... I miss my heavy gambit carron spire that pops ships in less than 10 seconds wen you set AI to attack.
