its a community  based event and all players are welcome

however i do believe some penalty for capturing the point  in the vip game mode  i was thinking one vip death or one vip death per 100 points captured to the team that capture the point special on desert scrap

also rules changes  to the team that has no vip ship with lose 2 deaths to there vip which is always the top ship on the team

other proposed rules"

north and south spawns per the team that start on which ever side of the sand storm they started on

Until this is an official game mode we do need a penalty for capping the point. I don't know which team would have won if the point hadn't been capped in that game last week. It was still a good game but we do need a ruling.

One thing that hasn't been mentioned is that you can still jump of the hull to repair things. If your balloon is down or all engines are down you can't do much until they are up. On most ships the balloon is close to the helm so you can quickly jump off and hit it with your spanner. For example on the junker you only have to look up. Just be carful when leaving the helm. Putting the ship in neutral before jumping off will keep your ship from running off or turning when your engines get back up.

As far as ships to check out first I find the Junker, Goldfish and Pyramidion to be the easiest to fly. The key is to find the load out and ships that work best for your flying style. There are lots of good load outs but not all pilots are good at all of them. I also really like the Phoenix Claw. Talking not only with your crew but also with the other ships will help you win more games and looking at the map helps you make better decisions. You can also learn a lot by watching some of the tournaments on YouTube. Hope those ideas help you get started. Good luck flying.

In round 3 my ship the KRAGon got half its crew dropped includeing the captain at the start of the first battle. That explains why it was just sitting there watching its team mates die.

Love the new update. Always look forward to new features. New matchmaking works really well. I think you should make the add time button smaller and move it every update to make it harder to find but that's just me ;)

Thank you GeoRmr that is very helpful. I still think for new players and new maps/modes later, putting the format of the match under the name of the match would be helpful.

Crazy King is my favorite mode but they seem to be harder to find. Is there a way to put more in circulation? Also I think to would be nice to add a small number of points to your team for kills. Currently you don't always want to finish off ships because they will be able to spawn closer to the point giving them an advantage. Adding 50 points to your team for each kill would fix this problem.

My brother and I find that King of the Hill matches are not very fun. I hardly ever see a comeback. The team who takes the point first wins 80% of the time. I was thinking expanding the capture area so you can pursue ships to finish them off and still be capturing the point. Currently you have to choose to fight our capture the point and that is not as fun. Also maybe getting a few points for kills would add to both King of the Hill and Crazy King.

Can you please add what kind of match the map is going to be when you are voting for the next match? I always want to vote for Crazy Kings but I never know which maps they are.
