I had some initial disagreements about junker at first, but you're right, especially with the Hwacha meta. I've tried experimenting with Junkers as Mobula counters, but with little success.

Also (in relation to the old teir list), with so much time gone by, I'd love to see someone do a synopsis on why the old goldfish was derp teir and what changes made it the monster it is today. I only just got the game 2 years ago, and didn't start playing seriously for a while after that, so I missed all of that period

The GoI lore is a mess. Honestly, I think the whole thing needs to be re-done. They've had people working on it who are no longer with Muse, and the bits they do have are simultaneously so big and broad, but so sparsely detailed. There really needs to be some serious, official work done on it before I care about what's lore breaking and what isn't

Rubberbanding used to be so much worse. Ships are very smooth to run around on at this point. Every ship has an optimized path for you to reach every component that's within your jurisdiction as an engi. The main engi has one bit, and the other engi has another bit. These routes are very smooth. I'm honestly not sure which parts are roundabout at all

Free look would be a purely quality of life change, for making turning the artemis possible without lifting and resetting your mouse. It would make a slightly annoying edge case more convenient. My proposed fix to turning slow weapons is simply WASD. Using the movement keys in addition to mouse to rotate a gun, useful for crude adjustments to counteract your pilot's maneuvers and maintain arc. For example to keep shooting the front artemis when a junker switches sides.

I can't really wrap my head around using WASD and mouse to aim the same thing, are you saying that the WASD would be moving via 'clicks' for lack of a better word while mouse aims inside the click?

You can actually move guns with the arrow keys. I do it sometimes with Lochnagar weapons. It feels good for some reason on those guns

It's just part of the game, something you got to get used to. You try and spot the ship, if it doesn't spot, it's an ally. If you shoot it and you don't get hit markers, it's an ally. If there are 2 ships spotted, that 3rd one is your ally. Allies are displayed on your map, so all you have to do if you're confused is check.

I never liked the auto ammo reload function. I argued against it when it was implemented, but I have grown used to it as an engi. It's stronger than people realize, an certainly wouldn't hurt gunners if it were to be gunner exclusive

I don't mean to complain about a good thing here. I love new things being added to the game, but... we haven't had an update since October? There was the small December update, but that wasn't much. Is it possible to get more regular patches? Even small additions or balance changes, just to test the waters with new things would be super rad. Roughly 5 months between updates is grueling

I'm anticipating a hit marker change eventually, though. I've spoken with Howard before about this, and he's unsatisfied with the hit marker system as it stands (or atleast, he was ar one point, this was a few mon tha ago). I'm not sure why, considering the hit markers are so good at shoeing so much in such a good way
