It seems you have changed something in spectator camera. It now has momentum and is not intuitive as fuck.

Noted, I'll suggest a peek at this internally.

Release Notes / Version 1.4.11 Release Notes
« on: February 27, 2017, 09:23:04 am »
New content/features:

- The Ashen Scuffle joins PvP.
Take a peek at our new content in the form of a dark and deadly, although strikingly beautiful, DM map. Take your crew through this deadly landscape in both 2v2 and 3v3. Lava flows and derelict buildings await you and your crew.

- New Gun: Typhon Heavy Flak Mk. II
The old 2 shot flak of yore in a new body.  The demand was high and with new art created for it. The weapon is ready in remastered glory. Expert gunners of old and new rejoice at your chance for the most powerful and demanding weapon.

- Static Story Book
Alliance is all about factions coming together, forming alliances, and waging big wars against each other in major seasonal events.  We will be listening in on our various channels of communications from in-game chat to our lively forums to see how you are playing and role-playing as your factions.  We will look at our data and see which players have earned the most effort, bought the most reinforcements, and overall supported their factions the best.  With all this information, we will craft a unique story after each war to commemorate and recognize the events that transpired.  Join us in crafting the history of Guns of Icarus Alliance together!

- Pietro's Veil (Male and Female) for buyers of Alliance.

- New War Goal voting system
When war period begins, alliances will be automatically formed and each alliance will have 24 hours to vote on their war goal.  This replaces voting on what alliances to form, which was found to be confusing and less rewarding based on feedback gathered.  These goals range from converting the enemy’s populace by conquering a territory, enforcing a will of strength by growing to a certain size, to activating a super weapon by accruing resources.

- New underdog icon
- Match list opens if Matchmaker goes too long

General
- Goggles are now dyeable
Every piece of equipment is now dyeable. Show off your custom style by matching any item to your complete outfit. There are no limits save your creativity for what kind of sky pirate you want to be.

- New character customization page
New dyes, cosmetics and options gave us a lot more to play with for the character customization screen. It has been completely redone to help you design your character and your tool sets.

- New ship customization page
With 12 ready and an upcoming 13 total number of ships. The ship screen needed an update to make navigation easier. We’ve taken a major pass to improve not only the page visually, but also the usability of the page. Craft, create, and plan your ship!

- Period/Daily Rewards
We’ve add in the easiest way to earn items, rewards, and XP. Just sign into the game daily to get your latest reward. Consistent loyalty means bigger prizes. Every 5 days the system updates so if you miss a day you won’t be punished too greatly.

Dev App Testing / Dev App Testing change-log: 24 Feb, 2017
« on: February 24, 2017, 11:13:15 am »
Alliance
Defense
- 3-ship lobby of Voyager's Cove will escalate faster.

Retrieve
- Refineries have an overall health buff across the board.  Just for clarification, they also scale up in health by different percentages per additional player ship in the match.  E.g. the last refinery gets a larger health buff than the first.
- Final refinery base health is more than all other refineries.  Should be easier to make a final stand there.
- Convoy damage per player ship buff is reduced.
- Overall improvements to convoy navigation.  Better pathing as well as not bumping into each other as frequently.
- Tweaked progression escalation locations so that boss doesn't spawn too early.
- There are spawns right before each refinery to allow easier defense.

New in-world icons:
- Convoys have red target icon when you are not carrying the barge.
- Barges have no icon when they are carried by the enemy.
- Barge will get an in-world icon if they are left unattended.
- Current refinery always has a base icon.
- When you have the barge, distance to the current refinery is displayed.
- And when you don't have the barge, distance to convoys is displayed.

Assault
- Current enemy base always has in-world target icon

Infiltration
- There's been a new Infiltration map, a reworking of Oblivion.

Survival
- Both maps are now fixed at 5 waves.
- Some tweaks to objective positioning.

Ships
- Corsair side light gun arcs pulled in a bit.
- Max turn rate slowed down to 10m/s.

Note: You may see cosmetic changes on the Stormbreaker, it is getting revisions to accommodate a heavy gun.  The version that is playable has the same gun positions.  However, keep in mind that the ship will be changing soon.  Try not to bring it for Retrieve testing since it's OP in it's current form, which will be changing soon.

Skirmish
Ashen
- Changed to 3v3
- Reduced number of post initial spawns
- Made the width of the map a tiny bit skinnier
- Lowered flight ceiling significantly

Heavy Flak MkII Heavy Gun
- Operates much like the original flak on launch
- Adjusted aesthetics to make it distinguishable from the other Heavy Flak

Dev App Testing / Dev App Testing change-log: 10 Feb, 2017
« on: February 10, 2017, 01:39:15 pm »
Skirmish:
  • All Alliance ships will be available to try out in PvP (Wild Week feature)
  • Alliance to Skirmish maps are still available including the Voyager map which has changed its name to 'Misty Mutiny'
  • Lowered ceiling for 'Misty Mutiny' map
  • Tweaked spawn areas to reduce immediate line of sight for Alliance to Skirmish maps
Alliance:

Defense -
  • Devil's Voyager's (2 ship) escalate faster so should feel more tense on normal

Retrieve -
  • Big improvements on convoy pathing.  Doesn't take illogical paths (but can still collide into obstacles at certain times)
  • Due to above, reduced durability and speed
  • Oblivion and Thornholt both have tweaks to refinery placement and initial spawn to encourage initial chase and reduce chance of enemies spawning at refinery A before convoy is there
  • Special abilities: try them out, tell us what you think.  These should be the final batch.

Guns -
  • Cavitation gun: Nerfed AoE and piercing a bit
  • Lens Array: Slightly harder to use, harder to multi laser bosses to oblivion
