We all know the moment when during Crazy King match teams are so balanced that for much time no one can even get a point, the games goes on but there's no progress at all. This makes some game take sometimes over 40 minutes which is exhausting and no-fun for most people, especially when there's no progress. I think this is quite silly and would like this one sorted out.

So basically two ideas came to my head:

The simple one - make ALL the games have the rule from Hephaestus Challenge that after 30 minutes game ends and whoever has more points/kills wins. I believe it's a good idea.

The less simple one
- I'm not sure about this one but I think currently capturing points works like that - if there's ANY enemy ship in the capturing zone - the point isn't captured. That's why it's so important (and annoying) to block points when you can - but as I mentioned before it can basically make game stagnant. I suggest we change it in such way that the enemy ship makes capturing point slower, but not stop (except one case). This is how I see it
If there's 1 and 1 ship - the point is not capped by any of them, the ballance is 0, the same goes with 2 and 2 as well as 3 and 3
If there's 2 and 1 ship - the point is being captured 1/2 slower
If there's 3 and 1 ship - the point is being captured 1/3 slower
If there's 3 and 2 ship - the point is being captured 2/3 slower
You get the idea I guess. Of course this is just hipothetical idea I came up with.

Let me know what do you guys think about this.

General Discussion / What exactly is "hull"...

The ship has a rebuildable armour and un-rebuildable hp. And which one of that is "hull" actually? Becuase mostly we say hull meaning the armour but game (at least one achievement) treats hull as hp (or, as some part of community says - permahull). Some people say "armour" meaning the armour and "hull" meaning the hp. So I'd like game and community to just stick with one version. What are your thoughts?

Since waiting in the lobby takes so freakishly long and most of us just minimizes the game to do something more productive to kill time before the game. So, I'd like two things to happen:
1. Add some sound for recieving PM (toogable in options) so someone can PM us sth like "I changed ship, get X, Y, Z"
2. Add the sound for the moment when majority of captains are ready and the timer begins. There are drums but they are like last 3-4 seconds.

I go to random lobby only to find out that it is beginning just RIGHT NOW, THIS MOMENT, NOW! So I wait 10 seconds to see the loading screen and the button "Exit game". The partly solution to this problem can be found here (https://gunsoficarus.com/community/forum/index.php/topic,4660.0.html) but also please don't make us exit the whole game just because of this - make "Exit match" button so we can just exit lobby instead of exiting the whole game.

When I get a private message but I'll be AFK for some longer time (suppose I go spectator because something came up and I have to go do something for 5-10 minutes and want to go back to game after this) I won't be able to read it later (fully) because it won't be in the chat anymore and clicking on the message doesn't do anything (activating response on the chat maybe), so sometimes I only see something like
Message from X
"Hey man, I saw that you are online and I need you to help me in ... "

So I actually have to explain why I in the same time could and couldn't read the message and ask what he wrote to me, which is silly. Also, thing of minor importance, the sign limit on chat messages sometimes feel too small, a 30-40 more signs would be nice.

General Discussion / Should we report unresponsive players?

Basically what title says. Recently I had a situation with a lvl2 crew member on the same ship - she was a gunner, she didn't bring the right ammo, she didn't respond to anything (standard chat, voice-chat, private message procedure) but we decided to play anyway. In the game when told on voicechat "[Nick] front guns!" she actually did go to front guns. So the question is - in such teamwork-oriented game should we report people who, on one hand are at least mildly irritating (we have to suck it up or change the lobby, basically), on the other hand, may just be unable to respond, for example because of language barier.

Sometimes it's not easy to follow the chat when everything is in white text. Before we actually read the message we have to read [the type of chat] [clan tag] nickname: then finally message. Game can and does make it easier for us sometimes - it uses light-blue colour to mark our own messages (then everything EXCEPT message is light blue), and does the same with all the other colours.
My suggestion is - figure out some colour and make chat always be divided into all the information in some colour + the message in white, as it is with friends etc.

Since achievements are important for most of the community and not only we want them to be changed* in some way but also we know from the Devs that they are planning on some changes** in leveling system as well as in achievements themselves I'd like all of us to look closely at our achievements and make (as a community) list of changes we'd like to incorporate. Examples can be shown below, but I'll also give one: there are spotting achievements for engineer and they all are like "spot X ships on distance over Y meters" and the distance grows with higher achievements, so it's like 1000, 1500, 2000 and then after some achievements.....1000 again, which seems just silly. That's why I'd like to gather all ideas in one thread and after some time (week? month?) send all the ideas gathered and accepted by community to the Devs so they have a basis to work on.

And last and the least: I think that getting the Citizen badges is too easy. To be a Golden Citizen you only need 40 recommendations and 10 recommendations from enemy captains. Well make it 200 and 50 so you actually have to work some time on it.

Hi there. Ocasionally I'd like to change the colour of my outfit, but I'm limited with number of dyes I (don't) have. I think that instead of one-time dyes we should just get unlimited acces to one colour. I think it would be more fun this way (for instance all community could wear pink on valentines day or sth like that) and it's easy to make. To ballance the profits from current dye sells Devs could just rise the prices (which is understandable when buying a dye gives us unlimited access). So, who's with me?

Since we have a "Ship Cosmetics Wishlists" I think it would be a good idea to make a similar topic but covering character cosmetics. Reasons for that:
1. Simple numbers - crew consists of 4 people; one is the captain and the rest 3 is the crew. Since only captains can customise their ships this give you (in theory, of course) 4 times more people interested in that matter. Of course there are many people that either don't pilot or do it rarely. Game makes you more often a crew member than a captain.
2. Recently some outfit-related subjects has been talked-through on the forum and (let me clarify that this isn't some kind of accusation or anything offensive) the Devs didn't really know about that (because they are also people and can't look through all the forum every day ;) ) I think making it a sticky topic will make more chance for it to get Devs' focus.

3. Why should this matter get Devs' attention? Because I think it's important, it's one of the greatest thing in this game (and, in some part, in whole (online) gaming world) - to make our own image, to create a character that we can look proudly at, saying "Yeah, this is mah guuy/guurl". People like creating their own character, special in their own way, created the way they want them to be. That's why every time GOIO shows the winner of the match and that's why people are willing to spend those few dollars just to make them look a bit cooler.
4. Also it's fun because it allows larger groups to identify themselves through part of their looks, like Gents' top hats or Clans' always eye-hurting spring green added wherever you can, or just SPQR having their dedicated colours (I think red and gold). To name a few.
5. And last and the least - simply (currently) there is more of character cosmetics so there is more to talk about in how to improve or change what is now (e.g. topic mentioned in point 2).
So let me know what do you think about this.

Gameplay / Ship ballance / damage ballance

Recently I've been thinking that we see way too much pyramidions in the game, metamidions especially, both in competetive and pub matches. Of course I think this is bad for game and needs to be fixed/changed sooner or later. The problem is that the combo of one-two accurate gatling clips with one-two accurate clips of mortar can quickly destroy any other ship. Moreover - it is pretty easy to do. Possible ways out of this I came with:

Changing the way damage types work
Maybe not complete re-inventing them but something like "nerf this, buff that" kind of thing

Changing the specific weapon(s) damage values and/or types
For instance nerfing the mortar in some way.

Changing the statistics of the ships
For instance decreasing pyramidion's armour value by some factor.

Many people play with (non-game) music or for some other reasons can't constantly hear other people talking through a microphone. How about a small icon that allow us to just always inform other players that we can't hear them (and therefore they should contact us through chat)?

Firstly - I know you'll say stuff like "Levels aren't important" or "It's just a number" but I think that we (players) care about them. Let me explain it with an example:
Recently I reached lvl11 in engineering, a rather high one. I was a bit dissapointed that all I get is just a badge. Please, throw in just something. I'm not saying much, because we know that you're a small company and the amount of content you have doesn't allow you to give it away all the time. But.... something. Like a dye at least. Another idea - maybe give some new voices on the higher levels, the hoarse voice of an experienced sailor.... that would be something.
Also custom voices availible in the store.... think about it ;)

Feedback and Suggestions / Clans - Trainee Divisions and Oficers

Hi there again. Lately voices can be heard about dealing with new and unexperienced players. Well, for those unwilling to cooperate (or even communicate) we can't do much. But for those willing - we can. My idea is that each clan may have a Trainee Division - a clan within a clan (yo dawg) for the, duh, trainees, unexperienced people who are willing to learn and this clan has decided to take them under their wings. Only people assigned by the clan leader would be able to have a look into the Division and there would be some limit to decide who is yet a trainee (on one hand a clan itself could decide it, but I think lvl4 or 5 in any class is a good enough limit). What is important - the trainees would be encouraged to join the clan but they wouldn't be forced (I even have an idea that they clan-tags wouldn't show, instead of that capital T for Trainee, because they're not officialy in the clan). There are many people that are intelligent and willing to cooperate but they are just lot at the start, so this could give them means to become better and finally show up on DevMatch ;)

Second idea is to bring ranks to the clans, but ranks that actually mean something - Oficers. I suggest three degrees: 1st Oficer, 2nd and 3rd where 1st is the most important and 3rd the least, and of course they may be multiple Oficers of each kind. Each of them would have different amount of power in the clan, and that amount should be decided by clan leader. For example 3rd oficers can only invite people to clan, 2nd oficers can also kick people out of clan and 1st oficers can also change messages on board. Depending on the clan, this may differ (for example in an elite clan with a few people recruiting members can be reserved to the highest oficer). This is how I would see it:

I especially added promoting, because it's also should be up to clan leader (of course oficers can only promote people to one lvl below themselves, meaning 3rd oficer cannot promote nobody, 2nd oficer can make someone 3rd oficer etc., 1st oficers are only promoted by clan leader). Function descryption is a made by clan leader message what such rank means (both responsibilities and power) and it should be availible for everyone in the clan. I'm really curious what will show up in clan overhaul that Muse is promising for some time :)
