Projectiles definetly can be shot down. Hitting projectiles with projectiles from the same weapon will destroy both (i.e. a mortar shell hitting an enemy mortar shell). Happened to me occasionally. I did not happen to see projectiles from different weapons hit each other, so I can make no statement about that. (btw mines hitting eachother before arming will also destroy both, an armed mine however can not be shot down by a single unarmed one)

in that theme, replace range finder with throwable snowballs.

Just as useful. : )

It would actually be more useful since in addition to your own crew you could also distract enemies with a snowball fight.

Fixed it for you. In school they teach momentum=speed*mass which should be a good enough approximation for this game. I assume the total damage done to both ships is dependent on the momentum the ships have relative to eachother, while the ratio of damage distribution is equal to the ratio of their masses.

Some Pilots like charged on the mortar over greased bc they don't fly the metamidion as a rammidion.

I think Gilders comment was absolutely fitting to this. Which gamedevelopper makes games to run on every single pc there is? Blizzard would probably be the closest to that making games that run on 10 yr old pcs. Want to play newer titles? You have to upgrade your pc at least every 5 years. Want your pc to be a gaming pc? Get accessoiry programs that are compatible with games and/or set them up to be compatible. This isn't a console game.

Started grinding the teaching achieves since they nerfed them!

Too bad you'll have to play engineer to reach 100%. Another tool used to discriminate against gunners.

I'm at 73%.

I disbelieve raising the level cap for novices would help making better matches.
Also, being in novice matches restricts loadout choices and since most people are stupid, they won't find a way to leave the novice matches in order to unrestrict themselves, which in turn would repel new players from the game.
On the low level cap thing: I'd say it's that low because it takes longer to reach lvl12 now than it did doing the 14 easy achievements that were necessary to reach lvl5.

It looks like on of those things you see when you open mechanical clocks. You don't know what it does but if you remove it, the clock doesn't work anymore. Thus muse, please don't remove it since it'll probably break more than fix.
