Be nice to have something that can just be there constantly in the down time between the seasonal tournaments :)

I can't stream but would be happy to color commentate with a play by play commentator.

Difference being Geo, the harpoon is supposed to be a utility like the flare gun. The mine launcher is a weapon.

I really like it a lot right now!!! the only thing I would suggest would be to bring the range in a bit and a slight buff to the amount of stacks chem spray puts out

That's something I wouldn't mind testing. Like you said it makes lesmock all the more useful.

You are going to need to host a test session before putting the hot fix in. For future reference, don't treat mine and Tropo's word as Godlike when it comes to fixes/changes :P Two people do not an 'it's fine' make :P

But chem spray doesn't prevent direct fire damage and now, miss one coat of chem spray and it's fatal.

1.6 damage per round seems just a tad on the high side. chance of ignition with each particle being at it's current percentage should come down to under 20% (you get 300 chances to add 1 stack of flame with 1 clip of normal ammunition, when that is @ an over 1/4 chance... you should on average be stacking 75 stacks per component (capping at 20 if not extinguished) - That's far to high. Mess up your chem spray run or, need to make a mallet hit because of the flamer dps, and you can very quickly be in big trouble.

This effect is only made worse with a second flamer.

IMHO, decrease the damage per round (particle) to 1, or even less. Decrease the ignition chance to 15% or even 10% and keep the range the same. If you lower the range, it will mean that you have to get far to close for it to be of equal use than say gat/mortar, or even gat/flak. I thought the idea was to make this a viable alternative.

Gameplay / Patch 1.3.6, balance issues and a hot fix required?
« on: April 28, 2014, 08:59:48 am »
Fire is doing far too much damage. Suggestion: Reduce clip size, lower damage to 1 and reduce ignition chance to 10%

Hit markers are disappearing mid game as is component destruction notification ticker - You were informed of this in Dev App.

Ability for Red Team to make their  balloon look blue and vice versa via ship customization.. could be that brown/green are too red/blue.

All in all, these were things you were told about by testers in the Dev App forum - We told you so. If you push a patch out without listening to your testers then what is the point in Dev app?

There are probably many more issues, but i've not had adequate time to test on live.

Effective 26/04/2014, I Mr. Ace Rimmer have stepped down from Leadership at Overwatch. To other clan leaders, your current points of contact for arranging scrimmages should be either Zyem, Puppy Fur or Alistair.

Hi Tanya. some members of Overwatch normally participate in the iron Fork on Fridays. Don't think anybody could show up tonight but, since i am currently on hiatus, drop Puppy_Fur a message about it. Overwatch might be interested in something like this.

As are the scrims that Overwatch and the Ducks have, but titles get exchanged during ours. We consider them unofficially official mainly because OVW does not like muse' scrim system.

Just a small note there can only be one leader.
There can be multiple officers, but I'll leave you guys to organize that.
So Rimmer who should be the leader?

Fine, I'll be the leader for the sake of the system.

M1 Mandarins beat Ryders 5-3
M2 Mandarins beat Ryders 5-2
M3 Mandarins beat Ryders 5-3
M4 --
M5 --

Having now re watched a lot of VOD's for the Skyleague, I'm giving this to the Mandarins in a 3-0 shut out. The Ryders are good, there is no doubt about it, but i feel their play style will be undone by the Ducks, much like Overwatch was in the Semi Finals. Ryders will get some kills in but I just don't think they have enough in them to win a match here.

Match 1
M1G1 OVW beats Duck 5-4
M2G2 Duck beats OVW 5-4
M3G3 OVW beats Duck 5-3

I have to go with my people here, I wouldn't dare bet against them. That being said you can never ever rule the Mandarins out. Make no mistake whether 2 games or three, this match will be close, hard fought and one hell of a watch.

Match 2
M2G1 CSRY beats MH 5-3
M2G2 CSRY beats MH 5-3

Got to agree with Alistair here. The hatters are good, but I think the experience of CSR will win through here. I can't wait to see this. There is always the possibility the Hatters pull off either an upset or force a third game.

No matter who wins through to the final, this week and next should show some of the best the GOIO competitive scene has to offer and will provide a thrilling climax to the tournament.
