I think i have cracked the problem. Ever since leaders and faction message baronies are now a lot more organized. I believe that although the game math scales the balance on needed effort based on faction members; the lower count factions will always have an uppet hand. Why? Because of organizational problems. The more members or employees or soldiers whatever you have. The harder it gets to coordinate. The ingame tools for this are not sufficient enough to coordinate 4k members. Multiply that by the 12 battles barony is in constantly and it becomes impossible to control people. I already pitched highlighting critical ressources on the map, to get confused players in the right battles. But its simply down to the hardness if controlling large groups. A smaller group always gets things done quicker. Maybe leaders should have more power in the faction to help with these problems.

jokes aside. It was super demoralizing to see the region you just spent 2-4 hours deployed in be immediately attacked again, with a 50% lead to the enemy. makes you really feel like you are doing a difference for your faction, other than just avoiding the inevitable loss.

Furthermore, something also feels odd about fighting chaladon. I dont have any game evidence for this, but I think engineers should look into it.

When Baronies fight anglea it feels like the 2 factions are even and that both has a chance at taking any area from eachother, but looking at chaladon it feels like baronies just cant keep up with the amount of defense and attack they put in a lot faster than baronies can muster anything.
Might be because of chaladon getting a too big of a bonus due to the low membercount, but I Dunno might also be that baronies are just terrible at coordinating atm. - still think it should be looked into.

we took blackcliff but because of the 350k lead chaladon gained afterwards due to some weird worldmap bug I guess, chaladon is currently 10k away from getting it. it appears that blackcliff is going to be Stalingrad of goia

still the same topic and problem as January 2014 ;)

it's always been like this, no content, lack of communication and hopes that adventure mode wouldn't be bad.
I get the passion that comes out of this topic, but isn't it too late?
the game is 5 years old, and you can't expect muse to start adding content now.
it's all unfortunate and this topic is the exact reason why a lot of us forgotten players stopped playing the game.

The thing I find interesting here is that community ambassadors are voicing depressing opinions, that might be the real talk here. - That the game has lost it's run.

anyway just wanted to pop in and say hi.

p.s.
Goio is worth the 5 euros on sale, always was ;)

just checked the forum for the first time in a long time

I'm really surprized that SCS still exist, holy shit.

back when me and velvet started this, it was just to casually play other teams every week, but I see the rules are being debated Again.

I'm not gonna take parts in the discussion, but just know that more rules requires better refs and more tolerant viewers ;)

Hope you manage to run it well Sir Steffen, I have no idea how many times the torch have been passed. But its really cool to see something you created be handed Down to others.

the reason why your dream of realizing referees in party chat with captains will never work is simple:

referees do other things while the matches are running.

They sometimes tab out, they sometimes chat with other people, they watch things on their other screen, listen to the commentary or music etc.
You cant honestly expect a referee to be focused constantly for 2-4 hours during the event.
There are already enough for a ref to keep focus on, gameplay, lobbies, password, invites, time, loadouts etc. etc.
adding to that list will lead to more confusion, especially when someone talks to you while you are reffing.

The referee party chat is used to talk about scores, lobbies etc.
and tbh, if the ref isnt responding to chat, then he probaly left his pc for a min to do something, so talking wont help ;)

I know its tough luck, but referees are just players who spend their valuable time helping to run the event. They arent professionals paid to do all  sorts of things, and more than often referees are new and pulled in 5 mins before the event.
