Hello guys,

So, I was thinking the other day, we have a couple of tools to communicate with our crew and communication is key in this game. However, what I would love to see is some improvements in that regard.

Sometimes, in the heath of the battle it's neither convenient to type nor to speak quick enough to give multiple orders/advices/informations and it can easily be missed by the crew. Even through vocal some people are not able to hear you or don't pay attention and perhaps don't even speak the same language as yourself.

This bring me to the point : Why not add a couple of new communication features ? Such as :

- Visual order/information, typed by the captain, appearing in the middle of the screen (could be enabled by default and disabled through an option), it could be colour changed as well.

- Macro. Yes, a simple macro system to provide short informations/orders that you could binds to any key.


 I played for a long time an online crew based space game (which does not exist anymore) where I had to deal with 4 gunners and 2 engineers and this game had a similar feature which helped so much despite the fact that I had also a mic/vocal.

It would fit perfectly for a game like GOIO.

Thoughts gentlemen? Ideas?

Feedback and Suggestions / Galleon [Interior design]

Hello guys,

First off, thank you Muse, once again, for the redesign on the carronade effects. I know you don't have time to answer all topics but it's very appearent you read them and takes well care of your community. I also know you are focusing on the adventure mode which is an awesome thing.

However, I always felt sad we had an awesome part of the Galleon which is not used. It is a fairly big ship and we have ladders, close to the rear gun, leading up to a floor.

I would absolutely love if there was something up there. For example, here is how I see it :




It would be awesome to have a 'door' right there, so we can get inside of this nice little room. And it could even become some sleeping quarters with hamacs inside, just like that :




Of course, this is only an example, it could be anything else or perhaps simply put a desk, chairs, or some boxes inside. I just always felt a bit frustrated not being able to access this part of the ship.

Any other thoughts from the community about it?

Hello there,

I'd like to make a small suggestion about the Hellhound and Bark Dog Carronades.


As it stands now those two weapons are really underwhelming in term of visual and sound effects in my humble opinion.


The Hellhound is supposed to be a huge twin shotgun and the Bark dog a powerful small shotgun. Yet when you are using them it feels like you are just throwing powder at your target. As a gunner it is really disappointing to use them. While others guns are very satisfying and gorgeous to play I feel like the Carronade could get some visual and sound effects improvements.


What I suggest for the Hellhound :

- Louder and more "aggressive" sound effect
- Heavy visual recoil and camera shaking
- Remove the visual white powder shots to replace with a fireshot effect

What I suggest for the Bark Dog

- Louder sound effect
- Small camera shaking
