Feedback and Suggestions / Half destroyed balloons unrealistic
« on: May 04, 2013, 03:37:12 pm »
Sorry if this was already pointed out, but as an engineer I feel that there is something wrong with the balloon in this game.
The main problem I see is that when the balloon it's being  destroyed it falls instead of going up.

I mean, think it this way: The balloon makes you float, so it should float by itself. If it's not completely inflated, it should seem to go to the top of the ship instead of falling.

See this image (I took from google images)

As you can see, the balloon is falling. xD
Does that make any sense? I know my English is not as good as it should xD

Please, take this in mind when creating the new ships for the adventure mode.

This one I think it's quite important.
I don't know if I'm the only pilot that suffered this, but when you are in the middle of a battle, and in your crew there is a slot free (let's say, as engineer), when someone starts connecting to the game the AI stops fixing stuff because there is already a new player in that slot.
The problem is the time between the player starts to connect to the battle and the time he finishes connecting and loading the map. That time can be like 20~30 seconds in which you don't have a crew member (he is standing in the spawning point without moving).

My suggestion is that the AI should keep playing until the new player starts actually playing, and not until he starts connecting.

Thanks

So, you are waiting for the match to start, and you notice that the volume it's messed up. You think "well, let's change the settings" but then you realize that you have to get out of that waiting room to the main menu in order to enter the setting menu.
So yo quickly exit, change everything and when you are about to come back: someone took your slot.

So, my suggestion. Add a button or something to change settings while you are waiting to start a battle.

You can also wait until the match starts and the game loads, and then change the settings while in-flight, but I'm not sure if that's healthy xD Specially in maps where fight starts early and what you are trying to change is something like the video settings, that need a few seconds to take effect.

Sorry if this was already suggested, and thanks in advance.

It's a small suggestion, but in most games, clans have their name by using things like square brackets and such, and in Guns you can't use them.
I mean, I'd prefer to name my ship something like "[RZ] Crabkalash" thank "RZ.Crabkalash"
Also, I'm not sure about this one, but numbers would be cool too.

What do you sky-captains think?
