The Docks / The Grand Armada of Perdix reawakens!
« on: April 27, 2013, 05:06:02 am »
After spending months in the harsh desert plains after a catastrophic engine failure, the Imperator finally arrives home thirsty and unable to breathe. Months have past and yet the loyal navy have awaited his return willing to continue the fight for our homeland.

Finally, after much work, the Armada of Perdix has arrived with newer ships, greater assets and men that have proven their loyalty against the test of time!

The Armada of Perdix dates back as one of the first clans to come into existence for this game. They grew rapidly and produced booklets and guidelines for their members hoping for an organised cohesive group using radio communication procedures and a faultless command structure to produce not only a gaming experience but a professional navy waiting for Adventure Mode to come out! Unfortunately, since the only true leader was The-Imperator and no-one wanted to take any form of moderator status it was inevitable that something would interrupt this. The-Imperator suffered a massive computer failure and was unable to access the game causing the Armada to fall into the shadows.

Now however, he is back and has completely redone the Armada long with recruit some lower-officers so that if there is another crisis we will not die again! So what can the Armada offer?

  • Steam group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/ArmPdx
  • Website: elysianorder.com
  • Teamspeak
  • Regular games, between 1-4 a week (sometimes more)
  • Round-the-clock management with officers from Australia, Britain, Canada, Italy, Slovenia, US
  • Gamers! I mean, we don't only play GoIO. You will most likely find people among us playing games you love
  • Input! We are always open for suggestions and feedback. Even from day one you could help shape us into a community.

We're willing to accept any mature gamers wishing to join, we just have a few requirements:

  • Be civil and show respect to all players, friend and foe alike. Any disagreements should be kept from public channels and resolved through private Steam chat.
  • Absolutely no firing upon allied ships allowed! (If adventure mode has friendly fire)
  • If you accidentally shoot or even destroy a friendly APOLOGISE. (If adventure mode has friendly fire)
  • While in a group follow all orders given by your captain. If you have an issue with the captain you can report him later but following a bad captain is better than anarchy.
  • Don’t be a flavour of the week. Although we don't expect you to be online all the time at least let us know what's happening and that you're still alive. Coming on once a week or saying you'll be a way for holidays will suffice.
  • Skill can be taught, etiquette cannot. Although we enjoy having talented members we’d rather an inexperienced gunner than a non co-operative lone-wolf with months of experience.
  • Pay your tax. When adventure mode comes out if we keep our independence we will need resources to keep us going. More information on this will come depending on how it works
  • Wear our colours proud! While ingame place our tags (-PSS-) infront of your ship and be proud to call it an Perdix Service Ship! When adventure mode comes out we may have similar designs (eg all use blue flags) but this will be decided when it comes out.

So that's about it. What are you waiting for? The Armada's banner has risen higher than before, will you hold it gloriously?
