General Discussion / Re: I am Elite

Zuka's voice does different things to green players, dirty dirty things. Your reputation is more of an innovator and a madman at least in my eyes.

Oh, come now Hamster, let's not deny what your voice does to me. I dare not post it here, for this entire board would become NSFW. Let alone Spud, that man has a voice fit for a sauce salesman! I leave the training to him, as the newbies can't handle the sauce. The poor things...the lucky ones succumb to madness. I'm not elite, I'm Zuka!

BRING IN THE MADNESS!!!!
Did someone call me?
Nay love, I do believe he hath summoned the Great Zuka!
Surely my darling he called us both then?

Ah but of course, my dear. Your logic is infalliable, once again!

Got yall in the google doc. Now we just need a team to challenge the Gents at 5:40 and a team to fight the Mad Hatters at 6:30

As Sammy and I discussed, the Gents and the Hatters will face off against one another in the 5:40 slot. Do let us know if anyone else steps up!

Hello fine sirs! I'm happy to announce that the Gents and the Mad Hatters are in!

  • The Gents will take a 5:40 slot.
  • The Mad Hatters will take a 6:30 slot.
I'll be sure to update ya'll should anything change!

Trying very hard to spot enemy ships..  :D

I'm digging that part where, instead of listening to your captain, you were busy eyeing up Adra. If I hadn't already been on it, you would've been flogged at the helm! This explains so much...

/facepalm...epic fail to get the joke.../facepalm
Wasn't commenting on any joke, was commenting on how Ashly Burch is awesome and is totally worthy of marriage.

The Zuka shall have them BOTH! Tiny Tina will be mine! Not even the peasantry can bar me from my one true love!

Pyramidion — The Furious Vakari
If you fly with me, you know she's the most well-oiled machine in the skies! Originally came to be because the word Vakarian was banned, thus preventing Vakarian's Fury from being a thing. Named after my favorite Turian on the Citadel (more gorgeous than Rivendell). She's battle-hardened with the Reach of the gods, but she cannae turn worth a quad.

Goldfish — Pillar of Awesome
A stolen Halo reference, she's aptly named because she's got outrageous firepower in a single direction. Originated back before the lumberjack had an arming time, when you could pin anything to the ground regardless of range. Oh the glory days.

Squid — Thane of Whiterun
Ah the Thane, a masshup of Thane Krios and Skyrim. She's got the Flexibility to match the Vakari and all the commanding glory of a Thane!

Junker — Glory of Khar'Shan
The Junker always seemed the most Pirate-like to me, aside from the Galleon. She's a pitiful mashup of used parts and glorious design decisions, something you'd expect from skypirates! Aptly named because she carries herself with the awful swagger that we've come to expect from the Batarian Hegemony.

Spire — Indomitable
The Indomitable was once a glorious vessel, capable of single-handedly scorning scores of foes! She suffered a bad fall, and is now regulated to the role of glass cannon and general insult flinger. Desperate for attention, she's prone to random acts of furious ramming.

Galleon —MSV Hugo Gernsback
Another Mass Effect reference, the Hugo is duly named because I often perform maneuvers which most deem physically impossible with little regard for the crew's sanity. She'll colonize you good.

That moment when you get burnt pizza all over your keyboard and monitor. Every. Damn. Time.

That moment when you join a game and people fight to be aboard your ship. Who are you peasants?!

That moment when Gilder's ZukaDolls are more popular than the actual Zuka.

That moment when someone joins your squid at the last second...as a Pilot.

That moment when you scream "HULL HULL HULL OH GOD BALLOON!!"...over Captain Chat.

* Julius Caesar's last words were "Et tu Zukae?" because it was Zuka who shanked him.

That doesn't work. In the phrase "Et tu, Brute", you get Brute from Brutus because it's vocative, I.e. Brutus is the one being addressed. The vocative of Zuka isn't Zukae. Zukae would be dative or genitive singular, or nominative/vocative plural. So "Et tu, Zukae" could translate to the nonsensical "You too, of Zuka", "You too, to Zuka", or "You to, Zukas". Note that while the last sentence seems gramatically correct in English, Latin's use of different pronouns in second person for singular and plural makes it so that it's not the case.

The correct sentence would simply be "Et tu, Zuka"

Every single form of Zuka in this post is correct. You cannot be wrong whence you have invoked to almighty Zukaness! So you're right. Also yes.

Ah hello good sirs! I had the delightful pleasure to man some guns and beat around a few dandys with the good Captain Roy last night. The-Admiral was there as well, and it was a jolly good romp. We really showed them what for!

I am Zuka'Esrai, scallywag of the skies. I'm a captain first, having flown The Furious Vakari to many a victory! When my piloting is not needed, I'm a rather competent gun-gineer and a fine second mate. Gunning has only recently come of interest, thanks in no small part to Roy's lumberjack of awesomeness! I'm of the talkative demeanour, and indeed I get rather unsettled when shipmates give me the ole' blank stare. Teamwork is the call of the day, and I enjoy working alongside other such fine gentlemen. I have many microphones, though I do believe one shall do nicely.

What I'm saying is, Roy told me to say hello here. But I totally posted because I wanted to, not because he said so. Good day, sirs! :D

Tally ho good sirs, Zuka'Esrai here. Some scallywag had the audacity to inform me that the true cool kids post on the forums! After shoving him into a lumberjack and firing him into oblivion, I find I concur. You can usually find me aboard The Furious Vakari, a mighty vessel with superior wall hugging attributes. I'm a captain above all else, yet am known to pick up a spanner when I'm feeling particularly saucy. I take great joy in the dealings of battle, and hope to see you all in the skys! Huzzah!

Hmmm after the heresy you spouted about Bacon last night, Idk if there will be a warm welcome :P.... Anyway... glad to see you making the transition to the forums :)

Bacon heresy?! I resent that good sir! Bacon is the most sacred of all delectable meaty things! I assure you I would rather fly a 'poon squid with an all pilot crew than speak ill of bacon! You must have me confused with some foolish simpleton.

The Docks / Zuka's Folly!

Ah we meet again, good people of the sky!

I've been told that I should venture forth unto the docks, for this place is full of eager gents yearning for a jolly good time. If ye be lookin' for good times with a veracious scallywag of a captain, come find me in the skys! Yer guaranteed a good time aboard the 'Vakari and Pillar of Awesome, where you'll find that sassin' the captain pays off. Until I shove you into the lumberjack, that is. So come one and all, my vessels enjoy the company of the untested and proven alike!

You'll oft find me lumbering through the skys, stuck in between sundown and sunrise of the Central time zone. I look forward to many a fine game with you fair gents!
