Well, I'm from germany :)
What do you mean with summits?

I should as well attend the Brussels Game Festival (BGF)... If you have any summit english-friendly in Germany, just tell me, I can try to come ;-)

So I've ran my 5th test now, as well as my first big summit (Made In Asia, Brussels). the rules are simplified, and I'm pretty confident to contact Muse to know what they think about the project, and of course about the game assets

A few pictures of the material

A ship

cards (mechanic, gunner, captain)

a weapon

some pictures of a table set up

omg the hype is real. too bad I can't attend the test sessions.
makes me motivated to make the paper models of ships that I've been thinking about for a while, but never have the time

If you can make it to western europe (France, Belgium, Germany), I will probably be on a few summits

Otherwise, when it will be kind of ready, I might be able to propose a PnP, but with agreement from Muse Game (for pictures)

Coming bck here just to give some feedbacks

My First game was a success (I expected a fumble, as a first time... but actually, the mechanics are well designed enough so it works)

few hick ups here and there, and everything is corrected for the next test

if you want to follow all the news about it, I created a facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/zeppledin/
I'll try to write updates in both French and English

here are some pictures of the evening:

now, for the next steps, I have printed few mountains obstacles, drawn some clouds on the map, and included a "victory point" system (kind of in game achievments... each time someone repairs a hull, each time someone rams, etc etc)

Aaah dunes

Right now, the map is pretty empty and with sand color :p
And I'll 3d print obstacles and difficult terrain in the future

So there will be dunes

Good idea for discord

Hello community

I'm currently designing my very own first boardgame, and it's about GoI.
I was basically searching for a boardgame that would have this wonderful team interraction between players having a specific role in a team, with different gameplays, and, after few research... I found out there are none

so I began thinking, then writing rules...

I'm currently on my version 0.8 of rules, and I'll playtest my first prototype on Friday.

for Boardgames afficionados, the game is a kind of a mix between roborally and captain sonar. a captain, a gunner and 2 mechanics on the board, zones on the ship to handle, a hex map to move the ships. 2 phases per round: plannification (1min to plan 4 to 7 actions for a full crew), then execution.
The game would be from 6 to 16 players (3-4 players per ship, 2-4 ships)

Here are some pictures of the prototype so far

PS: The game is currently made by a fan, as a prototype. IF I go to try to officially edit it, I'll ask Muse to negociate the IP, otherwise, the art will be different... I just want to say I do not intend to steal anything from Muse ;-)

PS for Muse Game: If you're eager to edit this boardgame, I'm willing to have the IP freely :p. Seriously, If you're interrested, please contact me ;-) I can give you the rules I've written so far
