The Docks / Re: [TAW] The Art of Warfare - Recruiting

We are currently still actively recruiting for more people to join our ranks. We now have weekly practices and events set up, as well as our quite active TeamSpeak server (at least 100+ on server at all time).

Still looking for good men and women for the clan, we are still growing and things will only get better. After all, who doesn't want to be part of one of the largest gaming community in the world and one of the globe's best bunch of members?  ;D

We're still moving on up over here, and as usual, recruiting is still ongoing. Head to taw.net and see if we look like a fit for you, if so hit that Join Now icon up top of the site.

We got units in NA, Europe, and the Pacific areas.

As long as you can get on Steam and can make the weekly playtime, then you are fine. But having TS3 is just a big convenience to be sure.

The TAW Guns of Icarus unit is still steadily gaining more members. There are always spots on the roster open to anyone interested in joining one of the largest and most active gaming clan system in the world !

Anyone else also in TAW should drop a post here from time to time, too...

The Docks / Re: Captain Looking for Crew or Clan.
« on: July 27, 2013, 05:13:40 pm »
Well, I would say if TAW is a good fit for you, then that would be great. We are fine if you want to be your own captain, and we do have people who can help crew your Squid and do a few matches here and there. We have players who play pretty much all the positions, so that is a plus. We also got a couple guys who can play with you and maybe train you if you needed it. We have players from Europe, Oceanic, and North America...so there is no lack of players really.

We use Teamspeak, so communication and teamwork is a must. As long as you are fairly mature, friendly, and can handle teamwork...then I thinks we'd fit you well. Our unit is currently small and growing, but we're part of one of the largest and most active clan in the world. We're recruiting all the time and hoping to expand well into GI's member base.

Hopes to see you among our rank soon !

Name: The Art of Warfare
Website: taw.net
-------
Interesting facts: We're among the largest and most active clan-community globally...2400 players in 15+ games...founded in 2001...have Teamspeak and a maintained website

I would think The Art of Warfare would be a nice place to fit in. We're casual and do have folks who can team with you if you need a crew or just folks to play a match with. We know people have a life outside gaming and that gaming is just a hobby and something we do for fun, so we are not the "hardcore" clan that others might lean toward. The GI unit is small but growing, so a leadership spot could be open. We'd love to have you on board !

We use Teamspeak, just so communication can be organized and easier to manage...so yeah a mic would be highly recommended here. I currently is in CST, so I have a good feeling about what time people are online...so you won't suddenly get a game invite at midnight :D. All we ask is for potentials to be fairly active, be mature, and use the TS. Now, we know a few words might be said in the heat of games, but ya know, just fairly friendly.

Clan Name: The Art of Warfare (we're a global community with 2400 active players in 15+ games, founded 2001)
Site taw.net
Regions supported: Oceanic, NA, Europe

The Pit / Re: Why We Need Kicking.
« on: July 24, 2013, 12:36:54 pm »
I like the idea of kicking players, there's some pros and also cons to it. But why bother standing the trolling of bad players when a swift kick will suffice? Just wish we could "kick" them outta the ship...loved to see the body falling down into the canyon below, eh.

Also, how do yall get that little clan tag below yall's "salute" button...that thing in bracket above the levels?

I'm sorry that we do not appear to fit you, and we wish you the best and happy gaming !

But TAW is very much a casual clan though. We do have practices and such, but with Guns of Icarus just starting out in our community, we don't actually have any set practices yet. Plus it's more of a come and see what's up kind of practice, meaning you aren't required to play if you just wanna sit in the TS channel to talk, heheh. I'll admit the design of the website might make us look too hardcore and professional, but looks' deceiving.

Good luck in your search !

Ahh well now, I would say TAW is a casual clan and we do have people in Europe who can help you train or whatnot. We got players from Oceanic, NA, and Europe so there is not really a lack of players. The current roster for this game is small, but growing. We do have EU folks who can play with ya and maybe help you out in-game if you need it.

There is a TAW thread a few below yours, or you can check out taw.net and see if we feel like a place you'd fit into.

---
Anyways, I don't much know if we got girls in them or free beer...but heh, you never know  ;D. The Art of Warfare community is over 2350+ active members over more than a dozen games. We have players from more than 15 nations, so you are not the only non-NA player ! The clan was founded in 2001, so we are stable and well administered. We're one of the largest and best organized clan in the world (outside the pro ones), but we're here to play and know gaming is just a hobby

Hey man, see if TAW is suitable for you. We got players on our unit from NA, EU, and Australia. There's a thread below this one about The Art of Warfare...or you could check taw.net to see if the looks fit you.

GI unit right now is small, but growing. We're actually looking for some admins for it, so maybe you might get a bigger role than just a normal member. TAW is one of the world's largest active gaming clan with nearly 2400 members (in a dozen+ games) across more than a dozen nations across the globe...so we are established and not any fresh community.

Well, tbh, it is kinda tough recruiting people through these forums...heheh.

Many threads get lots of views, but few postings other than the clan members themselves.
