we could always just make weapon jams a common thing for non-gunners.

That would be interesting actually.

Perhaps different ammo types increase or decrease the chances of a weapon jamming too?

Freeze ammo: Ammo designed to hamper and dismantle the use of weapons and engines rather than destroying it. To be used as a supporting ammo type to frustrate enemies.

- Reduces the rate of fire, firing angle and velocity of the target guns
- Reduces the speed and manoeuvrability of the ship for a period of time.
- Targets hit by freeze ammo cannot be set alight for a short period of time.
- Increased amount of time to repair ship parts affected by Freeze ammo for a short period of time.
- Freeze ammo causes a moderate drop in ammo damage of the user.

Smoke bombs: Passive capsule which can be sent hurtling towards an opponent setting off smoke screen on impact, blinding the pilot and crew onboard for a short period of time.

- 1 shot capsule
- No damage
- Long reload
- Short to Mid range.

I think it would be nice to allow player-made cosmetics and have the community vote on favourites. It would be nice to have that community input into a game like this.

The great thing about piloting a Junker is that you are able to be flexible in many situations. It is frustrating when you have an incompetent crew on the Junker and once you're hull armour is down you might as well go stick on the kettle whilst you wait to respawn.

Overall the Junker is fine. It's advantage is that is has many opportunities to lay down it's fire power at many angles and has a small hull making it hard to hit. Though line it up close with a Pyramidion, Spire or Galleon, then it can not soak up the fire power, which is a little frustrating. Since it only takes 3-4 hits from a small flak and 1 (maybe 2) hits from a heavy flak to finish the ship off.

Although it has one of the stronger hulls out of all the ships, having the weakest durability and has nothing special in its manoeuvrability, speed and ascending abilities, makes it difficult to fall in love with the junker. I myself love flying it, but I really want to be able to engage an opponent without worrying too much about toes being trodden on. I feel the ship is a "give and take" design, but there perhaps a little too much take.
