Oh, forgot that one. Delayed Reaction is for Junker. I am not skilled enough to fly Junker (I assume that after lousy results I have with it) so... It doesn't see skies very often.

I personally after sleepless hours invented ship names:
Tough Love for Galleon
ADHD for Squid
Obssesive Compulsive for Pyrmidion
Trust Issues for Spire
Emottionally Dependant for Goldfish

High risk - high reward? Considering that it's use is VERY situational and reward isn't really that high considering the time You'll spend rebuilding your gun (Yeah, I know that it aren't destroying Carronade on which it's almost viableish).

Guys from balance knows what they are doing most of times. vov

I am playing Eve Online and I think that this game is (despite all it's problems and drama) by far best MMO out there so I could write long about persistent single sharded universe, player-driven economy and so on, but I suppose that CCP Games had far more resources in the beggining than Muse has now.

Still I think that territory to fight over, all items crafted by players and all ships and equipment lost if destroyed is within Muse reach. Also some Sims like features like bars to socialize or even configurable player houses would be cool. Space for player created content and emergent gameplay would be awesome!

(By the way: Do Muse published any wall of text for what Adventure Mode will be like? I would appreciate if anybody could PM me any link.)

I am new to this game, so don't consider it fully fledged ideas, I am not expert (yet:))

I agree with Phoebe, but there is a way to make this idea more viable, yet simple: Make the crew smaller. Ship with such tremendous firepower could be operated by 8 or 7 men still being huge threat to 3 ships we have now. What is more I think there should be some tweaks that makes new time managment problems. Multiple armor repair points (on which repair tools work less effectively, but hey, You still can tank more when all of them are on cooldown).

Still there are other problems: Such ship would be basically stationary target. Captain haven't much to do on such ship, that's one. Second thing: How could such ship prevent Goldfish or Squid carronading or flaming it's ballon into oblivion? Or team of 3 Junkers with Mercuries plinking at him? That could be fixed by making it not so immobile while still balanced(-ish?).

It's a bit like boss fight. He has much greater power than You, but You have all initiative in the fight. One level of cooperation (between ships) is entirely dampened for one side and I don't think what Captain Magellan wrote solves that issue.

TL;DR I don't think that this idea is bad, but I think that it needs HUGE amounts of polishing if it is about to work.

Matches with one Battleship on each side and smaller ships on each side is entirely different story.

This topic is good place to bring question that is bothering me for some time: Did Muse made any statement about implementing bigger ships and by bigger I mean class bigger with more crew perhaps?

This has been suggested before and I think the idea is just as good now as it was then. This could make for some really interesting tactics and high level play.
What he said

Well, I checked this forum for things like that, didn't checked archive. Actually I was wondering why it seems that nobody else thought about it before.
Sorry for repeating what somebody else already wrote.
Carry on:)

I think it would be awesome.
Imagine this: You can't see anything farther than three or four ship lenghts away. You can't spot anything farther.
If You are shooting and there is line of sight between You and enemy You are automatically spotted (Guns flashing and stuff).
Flare guns becomes useful (!). (I think it could even become a must, at least one per team) He can reveal enemies without revealing You.
Flamethrower acting as a torch and so on.

Genuine hide and seek game.

One think that I am afraid of is that killing anybody could become almost impossible because disengaging is too easy.
How do You think? Would You like to play something like that?
