Thanks for all the early encouragement people  :) I've stayed with the game (you might have seen me around) and have a fairly solid understanding of it now. Was just wondering if anyone would mind me adding them to my friend list? Getting a bit tired of joining random crews and would be nice to have some people I recognise on there!

I was also wondering about guilds, are they only for more experienced people or is it worth trying to join one asap?

Hi! I'm Icarus Law (the name is my steam name, chosen before I played this game), I'm from England and have been playing GoI for about a month now. Still trying to decide if I prefer eng or pilot, will happily play either.

And that's pretty much it. See you in the sky!

I certainly will do if I see you on! Giving piloting a break until I've got more experience in the other two roles so if anyone's looking for a crew member I'm glad to offer my services

To those people that were teaching me to pilot tonight, I can't remember the names but just wanted to say thanks! I am really grateful that you put up with my rather shocking flying and were so nice about it :D It really helped and also sorry for suddenly disappearing (again), my laptop crashed :-[ hopefully it didn't ruin your game.
