I see nothing wrong with 'taricide'. If i was in a battle and somebody did it to me sure i would be annoyed but i would count it as a tactical maneuver and adapt to it. Not everyone does it and the people that do, don't do it all the time. It's not like people tar themselves every match, every time they are about to die. It's a risky maneuver, which can give an easy kill to the enemy and is only done in certain situations.
I've talked to Gilder and i respect him a lot, i think the reason he did it is just and see no reason why everyone is so butt hurt.
I hope it stays in the game ....... just get over it

Well here they are...
Goldfish(flagship): Vanilla Ice's Bohemian Lovechild
Reason: I watched the Adam Sandler movie 'That's My Boy' one day and Vanilla ice acts in it. I then thought of the name Vanilla Ice's African lovechild, was listening to Queen at the time and jazzed up the name to become the one and only VIBL.
Pyra: The Sensual Hippopotamus
Reason: It started off as the Dirty Hippopotamus but i thought the Sensual sounded more classy.
Junker: Three Tit's Mcgee
Reason: For some reason it reminds me of the three boobed girl for Total Recall.
Galleon: HMAS Man-Panties
Reason: It used to be the Ambidextrous Pimpslap because of the heavy guns on either side but then muse reduced the character limit so i named it the 'CBF naming this' ... and then for some reason thought 'man-panties' sounded funny.
Squid: HMAS Goat Explosion
Reason: I knew a band named Goat Explosion and i thought that it was the coolest name in the history of mankind.
Spire: HMAS Fully Erect
Reason: The shape of the spire ...durr
If a dev is reading this please don't take away my ship names... with your character limit you already reduced the mighty Lovchilde to the V.I.B.L(in game) and you also took my heavy flak cannon from me.... these names are all i have left
