Feedback and Suggestions / Re: Weather system.

I wasn`t really following this game for long, and have no idea about the engine. It seems that the engine might not be ready for such things. Can somebody clarify this, is it to early to ask for something like this, or is GoIO never be optimized enough to add awesome weather?? (tornadoes i particular)

I have played only for 24 hrs, but it was enough to notice that everyone agrees on one thing.
Most common thing that prolongs the waiting, is the 1 guy that refuses to listen and take the gear required of him. Endless frustration of captains who compiled the guns on they`r ships in a specific way, and ask the crew to pick up a certain ammo type or a tool to buff, with zero response from the certain members of the crew)

My proposition is, give a higher lvl captains power to choose loadouts and maby classes for lower level players, sort of crew recruitment) And give an option to comply or leave the crew. And I repeat, only for higher lvl captains, so the authority on the matter will not be questioned.

Sound ideas. Supporting) Plus, I want to add 1 of my Ideas.

You know when you are in charge of the certain part of the ship. I think it would be handy to choose it and make it so it will be always on top of the others when you are not looking at it directly, and it slides along the edge of your screen. Or better yet, make the Icons so they Never overlap and cover each other, so all the damaged guns don`t cover the hull or balloon icons)

More info coming in, thanks) As I play more, I get used to it more. Removing the overlapping will "fix" everything)

Thanks for all the answers. One more thing. It`s about the overlapping of the icons. I feel like it the current icon system is fine, except the overlapping icons. Icons-icons-icons) Hope you get what I mean.

Feedback and Suggestions / Was this a conscious decision?

Hi, everyone!
I start by saying, I love this game, heard about it a couple of month ago, and finally picked it up on sale recently. Played for about 10 hrs, I know i`m still a scrub) Although I flew(as a pilot) only once, it was a blast, long fight on a 2v2 map, my crew of experienced air-sailors guided me to sweet victory. In all my roles(gunner, pilot, engineer) I found 1 thing bothering me.
The ship parts icons, sliding on the edge of the screen. I had to constantly look around the ship, to see through walls, whether the hull or the balloon is damaged. Taking in to account that the icons overlap on each other, it was kind of awkward to turn around and look at them separately in the heat of the moment, whether i was fixing something, firing at something, or maneuvering around something.
The question is. Was this a conscious decision? Wouldn`t it be much more clearer to make a small outline of the ship in the HUD, to see what parts are taking damage. Thinking about it take in consideration, that you see if the parts are taking damage through walls already. In current state you just need to kind of stop what you are doing for a second and turn around to check.

Hope this question has been answered somewhere already and I will get a quick short answer.

Thanks) :D
