Monthly could work, and I think the crazy gamemodes is the way to go if anything to make it stand out more ... I just kind of need to figure out a way of doing it.

So basically, there's something like this already in place ... damnit.

Why is it just the captain's win/loss ratio recorded ... surely you should record win/loss of every player seeing as teams will be constantly switching as will people's roles?

Aside from that though its a good idea, a more relaxed form of casting as opposed to the structured tourney format, I like it

Who would be interested in watching or participating in an organised round robin style tourney with rounds being held weekly or fortnightly?

Also what features would you like to see in such a tournament, some ideas to consider below:

- Several matches being streamed throughout the day, building up to the "Main Event", the round's most anticipated face-off
- Pre-match build up with up to date stats and specs for the teams, pundits on hand to offer opinions and audience participation via use of live polls, twitter and twitch chat
- A post-match report, summary and analysis followed with interviews from members of both teams
- A short video at the end of the round summing up the action, scoreline and current league table standings

- Multiple streams going on at the same time covering all of a particular match, with a main stream and flicking between the action and with constant updates...
- Custom game types? (This may take a lot of work, and will probably need support from Muse)
- A variety of maps and gametypes

Just throwing a few ideas out there... let me know what you think below

Best call I've ever heard in larp...

"Bitchslap treble"

What makes it better is that it was the ref who called it and it was swiftly followed by the character (quite literally) getting stabbed in the back by a rogue medic howling with laughter.

All this because the guy decided to attack the ref IC

Since i am currently on holiday in the middle of nowhere (wales) for the next week or so, and as this is the final day of the flotsam campaign, i'd like to wish all my pastry and baked confectionary brethren good luck in tonight 's massive tourney, and to go out with a bang if you do just so happen to fail.

also, a massive congratulations to all the other clans taking part, and hope to fly with/against you again soon.

many a happy unbirthday,
Freelancer Tip

Yes, as a little bit of fun among the flotsum clans, I've decided it might be hilarious to make some cheesy puns that the casters should never say, on pain of death (of their entire career in casting).

E.g.:

"....and that's how cake got their just desserts"

The best and/or worst will probably be used at some point by myself when I get round to casting, and to be honest its a bit of a laugh, and a way of poking a bit of fun at clan names etc..

Hello! Is it me you're looking for?

No? Ok?

Well anyway, Freelancer Tip here, and it's nice to make your acquaintance. As long as you have enough money and/or women I'll be happy to jump on board your ship and serve as your engineer or gunner any time.

Ok? So, you have no money or women? How about food.... or moonshine even?

You drank all the moonshine.... well.... that's fine. If you happen to be flying in even the general direction of home, then maybe I'll come along for the ride... I guess?

In all seriousness though I'm Dave "Tipster" (or "Tip") Tipping. Part Time Maths Student, Part Time DJ, Part Time Presenter, Part Time ..... you get the gist.
You'll probably find me casually repairing your hull or extinguishing your engines .... or running around with my face on fire.
