A fantastic drawing!

Feel like I should clarify that it's not the same "J".  Her brother's name also starts with J.  xD;;

What if they were the same person  :o #crossover

-Anyone can merc boat during the event but to avoid clan stacking, you can't merc boat for clanmates.

*hands up* I haz a question. Can the same clan submit two different teams with separate scoring, and are they allowed to sign up simultaneously to the same contract?

I mentioned it in my next post after the OP, but it's 3 PM EDT, or 7 PM UTC. I apologize for the initial error.  Hope this clears things up.

to cut it out for eu people.

its at 8pm gmt / 9pm cet

Do you mean 8PM BST/WEST (UTC plus 1) and 9PM CEDT (UTC plus 2)?

GMT is always UTC zero. Regions are said to be observing a different timezone entirely during daylight savings.

I'm going to defer to Thomas's UTC 19:00, because it's UTC. And this means 05:00 on the Sunday for AEST.

Apologies if I stirred up confusion.

Matches will begin at 3 PM EST on Saturdays.

Is this truly Eastern Standard Time, UTC -5. Or does this refer to Eastern Daylightsavings Time, UTC -4, currently observed by some regions?

For southeast-coast Australians, we will switch from UTC 11 to UTC 10 at about the same time thereabouts when this match begins. Correct timings would help us immensely in transitioning through this harrowing moment.

Oh you too have an australian leader who doesn't sleep at all? How nice :P Anyway, I'll see if I can pack some CsMs together

We can't close our eyes ever or the spiders/snakes/sharks/koalas will get us.

Sure, the Crimson Sky Menace will be interested in this. Random loadouts was fun during the TimmyB.

Letters from the Sands #5a

Dearest Comrades,

Workers of this productive Refinery (Sections A to E)

Are cordially invited to an auspicious ceremony

A surprise celebration
To honour a most loyal and trusted comrade
Marking the tenth annum of the service of
Bai Nergui
(Rig Inspector, Section F)

Many of you may not have seen him in person. Nergui has certainly been humble in his duties. The celebration shall be an opportunity to meet and honour this exemplar of diligence and loyalty.

Proceedings at the event include:

Recitation of the Refinery Productivity Mantra
Song of Allegiance to Empire
Fireworks and other Pyro-chemical demonstrations
Cake

This event is being provided for all Refinery workers, and demonstrates the great rewards possible through lifelong service to the Empire.

Over the coming days, we request that you assist in the preparations by maintaining the secrecy of the event, including the ongoing concealment of fireworks placements and installations of celebratory paraphernalia.

Let us rejoice together in our labours and the ever growing embrace of the Blue Veil!

J-----

The Pointers Glowed White at Dusk. The shipment has arrived. A reminder that all the contents are highly incendiary, but at the same time do not store them where they cannot be easily set alight when the time arrives.

Commendations on the convincing production of the letters -- the likeness of the penmanship is indistinguishable from the original. Once all is in place, please stand down from your station as soon as possible. We appreciate the time and immense patience you have put in. Your final payment from us can be collected at the usual drop-off.

I hope you have not grown too fond of working there. I am sure you are itching to move on. When the time of execution draws near, do find yourself a good observation spot to watch the fruits of this long game ripen. The fires of war have made us eager and more belligerent than ever. Our bodies shall be tinder. These wings will fan the flames. We will teach them how we like to burn.

Yours eternally,
"The Bladed Phoenix"

Letters from the Sands #4

Dear P-----

I am sure that by now you have heard much about the advance encroaching upon Hanat, so I feel no need to be covert in my words.

It is us.

I write to you in haste soon after learning of our assignment, and hope that this message arrives ahead of us with time enough for you to act.

If you do not remember my name, perhaps the insignia of the messenger delivering this would be familiar.

You hosted a few of us, I among them, during the final days of the Anglean-Yeshan conflict. At the time, I was a junior technician with neither office nor influence. But we spoke a while, and you told me about the difficulties that plagued you and your fellow townsmen every day. I recall you saying how very little difference it made whether it was an Anglean raid, a deployment of the Order, or a Yeshan border skirmish -- war, you said, never changes. And knowing of your plight and those of many others weigh on me daily.

Yet even though we were very much part of the cause of your troubles, you still opened your doors to us, and were courteous and helpful as we rested and recovered. I remember this well, and for this I have kept you and Hanat close to heart. Incredible that the year has hardly passed and hostilities have once again escalated, and we return towards Hanat now in a most dismal state of affairs.

I am sending this message out of earnest concern for your safety. If we fail in our assault, surely Anglea would finally secure a permanent foothold into Firnfeld? But if we succeed, who knows what the Baronies wish to do with Hanat?

Please. Take your loved ones and find refuge -- now.

The messenger delivering this is a member of my crew, currently on leave, and he has been tasked to assist you in any way you require. We cannot guarantee the outcome, but I hope you will take heed of this warning, as a gesture of my continued and unforgotten goodwill towards your hospitality.

And if instead you feel that this act of mine is in any way disingenuous, then I would not fault you at all. I know that when we fight in the skies, we think nothing of the terror of those on the ground.

My sincerest apologies.

R-----

Letters from the Sands #3

Here we fly, battle ready
lookouts wide and engines steady
led by eastern waters glow
dressed in wisps of Firnfeld snow

Time we climbed these cliffs again
and tread the peaks of old terrain
with warming gaze and musing eye
recall the flights that bore us high

Remember the blade on which we brothers swore
oaths that crimson-dyed the shirts we wore
Before our ways dispersed with thoughts untold
those memories left in ice long cold

Back home no shifting dunes did last
as Burren sands engulf the past
In cinder dust of ancient wrecks
slept fragile wings and ragged decks

But willing hands do hold together
wistful hopes to dogged endeavour
Till remnants stirred by winds of war
awaken quick to drum and call

Now hulls to mend and hearts to heal
bound by promise and fresh-forged steel
With vision yet toward the skies
from ash a new-born menace rise.
