If you mean a dev app stamina review, best not to unless its unlisted for the devs only...

Everything in the dev up is strictly subject to change and purely for testing purposes before release, which means more likely than not it'll change again before being released in game, I would save Stamina review until it is released in the game itself, not Dev app...

But you could do a Minotaur review!
It is after all the newest released gun and still relatively recent. :)
I did ask the Muse Staff member if I could upload if I could upload it on the night, and he said it was fine as long as I stated that it was a development version and not a full release. And I also will be doing a Minotaur review in the next week or so!

Hello Everyone!  :)

As most of you know, the stamina testing took place a couple of days ago, and I have recorded some footage of it, and made YouTube video out of it. If you wish to just see the raw gameplay, you can
mute my winy voice, or if you like I could upload an unedited version. I "tried" to talk about all of the major things in this update, and also show them to you in video form.

If you don't want to watch the video, here is a small part of an email that I sent to Muse (Not sure if they got the email, as they never responded, but now at least it wasn't a waist, and you guys can read it! :

1.)The Stamina – I think that the stamina is good for being used with Kerosene or Moonshine for ramming. It would also be good if you have engines that are week, and then instead of Kerosene, you could use Stamina. ( I didn’t notice the engines health depleting, so please do correct me if they do deplete )

2.)Class-Specific Boosts – I think this is a good idea, but some of the powers / boosts need to be changed. For the gunners, having a faster reload speed, and also being able to turn their guns farther is obviously to do with gunning ( same goes for the pilot ), but for the engineer I see how running may help, but having a jump boost. I understand sometimes that an engineer may need to jump to be able to hit an item ( such as the middle engine on the Mobula ), but that is not the same as reload speed or the being able to turn your gun farther. When an item is fully broke, you have to rebuild it, and then it will work but have low health. Maybe for the engineer, the speed between hits could be lowered by a little bit, so that it takes less time to rebuild an item. This would not affect repairing the item, as the cool-down would stop that. It could also prevent the annoyance of when a gunner and an engineer are about to repair an item ( that is very nearly fully repaired ) after a cool-down, and the gunner hits it first with a mallet, instead of a wrench.

3.)The Guns HUD – As I am new to the development app, I am not sure when all of the HUD changes, but I do like how it looks now. This is also true for the gunner HUD, as it tells you all the information that you could possibly want. I think all of the HUD’s apart from the engineers are perfect. For the engineer, maybe there should be a button that you press that brings up a thing ( like when you press Q and see the achievements that you can complete ) and in it you can see all of the parts of the ship, and their health percentage ( obviously out of 100 ), so that you know what the most damaged item it. It would also tell you if it was on fire, and if it currently has a cool-down.

Here is a link to the YouTube video!

Thanks for reading and have a good day!  ;)

If writing down points doesn't help you can try writing down 'everything' you have to say and learning it by heart. When you'll be speaking you will forget a sentence or add one, but most of the thought will be provided. There's no shame in doing that, that's how I learned my presentation for my high school finals. You can also divide it into paragraphs and only record 3-4 sentences at the time (so you don't make mistakes).
I normally record a sentence at a time, then edit it all together. I will try to do this in my next tutorial!

Its nice you're putting in the effort and time, kudos for that  8)
I will stress one point which Disaster brought up already..

Write a script first, not just notes.. "Lets play" videos you may have a few notes to bring up during play, but tutorials should be as factual as possible, meaning a script would be best used..
And yes Subscription at the end, much more classy 8)
Okay! Thanks for the feedback! Next tutorial I will write a script, and I have positioned the subscription at the end for my "Stamina Testing Review" video today!  :) :)

I have updated the file so that the image is better quality! What do you guys think of it now?

Is it the same image though, just better quality?
No, it is a different image. The is only one image, so I couldn't get it to be any better quality.  :(

Firstly, I'd recommend you not to improvise what you're saying, but rather prepare at least some basic points you want to make on the sheet of paper and follow that. You will sound more proffesional and people will like the more densed content more.

Secondly disable hints (at least while you're making a video) because they are distracting attention.

Then, there's no such thing as "powerful ammunition", really. Lochnagar perhaps could be defined as one, but that's not the case here. It's never worth shooting a baloon with a gatling gun, the only supposedly valid option would be using incendiary ammo to start fire on a baloon, but there are many things that do the same more effectively.

"Big gun" is called Heavy Flak (Cannon)

"[pyramidion] is the only ship that [gat-mortar] tactic really works" - nope nope nope nope nope nope nope NOPE, it works on Pyramidion, Mobula, Junker, Spire and sometimes even Squid and perhaps even Goldfish (Flakfish with gatlings? It's...possible, I'd say)

You could say that Lesmok due to wide spread of bullets isn't always the best choice to shoot far targets (that's why we use heavy clip), and also that it increases the speed of the bullet (so it hits the target faster on the same range). Also worth mentioning is that heavy clip due to it's concentrated fire is good for disabling.

I may be wrong here but isn't 4th supposed to be written 'fourth'?

More of a personal note: reminder about subscriptions in the middle of a video is distractive and in my opinion is not in good taste, leave the subscription stuff to the end of the video.

I may sound rude but I'd recommend you playing the game more before you start making tutorials.

Thanks for spending some time to write a bit of feedback about my video. I missed a lot of things out in this video, as I was trying to go over the basics of the Gatling Gun. Some of the things such as calling it a "Big Gun" instead of the "Heavy Flak" was just because I had forgotten, because I was thinking of the next thing I was going to say. I am still trying to get the hang of speaking into a mic, and talking about something. I did make a list of notes, that I talked about during the video, but because I made so many mistakes, I edited allot of things out, and redid them. That is where some of the information got lost. I understand that the Pyramidion isn't the only ship, and that there are many other with multiple front facing guns, but what I was trying to say ( and it came out wrong ), was that the Pyramidion is one of the best ships for the Gatling Gun and Mortar tactic. And yes, "4th" is spelt like "fourth".
I will be doing a lot more revision about the topics that my tutorials are going to be covering in the future, so hopefully I wont make as many mistakes.
Thanks for giving me feedback, and I will try to persevere around these problems that you have pointed out.

Well, recently there was a screenshot contest. Perhaps if you look at the GOIO website or mail the Devs they will get you some good pictures for the theme.

That is a very good idea! Thanks for pointing that out, and I will be sure to do that :)

85
Nothing special, the image could have been better (better quality) but i like seeing goio. So yeah.

I will try to find a better quality picture tomorrow and update the download! Thanks for pointing this out!

Amazing theme, Salute! o7
Thank you very much!

Hello Everyone!

Today I made a Google Chrome Theme, that is about Guns of Icarus! Sorry if you are using another browser!

Due to the reason that it cost $5 to upload to the chrome store, I will give you the download here, and tell you how to easily install the theme!

(Download)
(For those of you who do not like MediaFire, I have added it as an attachment to this post!)
Download from MediaFire: http://www.mediafire.com/download/15xe9qx9u9qzxr1/theme1428339697.crx

(How to install)

1.) If you haven't already, install chrome from: https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/

2.) Click on the three lines in the top right hand corner, then hover over more tools and press extensions

3.) Click and drag the theme file that you downloaded from me, and move it to the center of the the extensions page. Once it comes up and says drop to install, let go of the left mouse button, and wait. It should pop up at the top of the screen saying something like "Do you want to add Guns of Icarus" Click yes.

4.) All done! You should have successfully installed my Guns of Icarus Theme! Please tell me if there is something that you would like me to change!

I hope you like the Guns of Icarus Theme! I also have a Guns of Icarus WaterMeter desktop, so If you would like me to do a tutorial on that, then please tell me!

Thanks for reading,

TheTeenageWizard
