Title: Vote Kick for Custom Lobbies
Post by: Kestril on May 28, 2017, 12:16:13 am
Custom lobbies need a vote kick or kick feature. Chaos Skirmish was once again was held up for 40 mins due to an afk player and no mod online to remove them.

This is nothing new so see the numerous threads regarding this much needed feature.

Anyway, the whole ordeal and lack of features left a sour taste in my mouth of muse's history and stance on this subject. I can't help but feel like they don't necessarily trust their community by implementing these basic tools.  Nevertheless hopefully this thread might be the last straw or the extra bit of push to change their minds or take action.

Which part of the description of that situation did you fail to understand?

Edit: In case you are refering to player's not asking devs nicely: Yeah. We did. Even begging. And yet we're here.

Since Muse won't implement Kick the only work around available to us is to make a custom Lobby, then invite every one from the old lobby to the new one except the offending player. We could ask Muse to add features to stream line this process. Like a "make custom lobby and invite people from this lobby" button. It doesn't have to be a button it could be a text box macro.

This right here is the reason why Muse still does not get it.

I honestly thought that this was such a well-discussed topic in the community that I could apply sarcasm and trust everyone to get it. Apparently I missed one.
