So, some time ago I picked up Sony Vegas, and started making some gameplay vids.

I only watched the GOIO one. It was very funny up until the actual match. The match parts were well edited, IMO, just not entertaining to me. The end with the victory screen was classic.

I lold a lot. Thank you.

Also, that long MM time was exactly why I don't use it anymore when I go solo. I only join matches that are near full while in lobby (red ones) or are ongoing (green ones).

I don't use it either when going solo, just used it for the sake of the video, as I had a gag I thought was quite good (the nature documentary in the beginning)


About the match part. Trust me, it wasn't fun for me either. xD

Let me chime in a bit

Schwalbe's history with Sony Vegas started when he visited me and we decided to check capabilities of my new computer, so we recorded something and with some random 10 minutes of recording we came up with several gags, so we downloaded Sony Vegas and by trial and error we together edited our first video of Wolfenstein: New Order.

I only have 2 videos because exam session, but I will probably make some more some time, they are in english, no voice yet as I currently have no mic.

Just to clarify.

I made most of these vids in Polish only because I have Polish localizations of them. It would be awkward to make english version of me speaking with polish game and vice versa.

Hence the subtitles.

I did. And the thing is, I was happy at first because that person seemed to cooperate at first.

Update

1. I'm not dead. Which is unfortunate.
2. New video is being made. Sort of.

3. I have several problems as of now, mainly:

a) Fuckload of University work, plenty of chances to fuck up already, projects, stuff, and generally engineering degree in IT is a bitch to obtain,
b) My landlord went fucking crazy,
c) I've several personal problems

All these combine into a situation, where in the past 3 or so weeks I've literally spent only around 4-5 hours sitting over the editing board, which roughly translates into something about 5 minutes material processed into 2 minutes of lobby footage.

For the record my previous video took me two weeks to edit, although that was mainly because of my clinical depression taking it's toll.



...So yeah. I've no clue, when I'm gonna finish it. I'm not touching it before tuesday, because this monday and tuesday I've concentration of total bullshit on my Uni: two laboratory assignments, computer graphics project deadline and laboratory part of it, test from regular expressions in formal languages which is deadly and can screw me over easily.

After that I've more-or-less free week. Then it goes all over again over the course of next three weeks.

The video is being made. I have 4 mins 30 secs of video ready, and 21 minutes of uncut video material to go.

Unfortunatelly, the progress will be quite heavily hindered, as I have literally 46 MB of internet left to use till 20th of February. I mean, that if I use it now on, for example, downloading an asset to make a joke in video work, and use last bits of internet, I'm cut out till 20th, which I can't afford at all with new semestre starting monday and such.

So, ugh. The vid will take longer than I thought.

So I was finishing a video, and was planning on releasing it on my birthday on the 21st.


My computer fucking died the same day, and now I deal with a spare, 10 year old Samsung.
