In order to get the ball rolling, I thought I'd ask a "which is your favourite" question. I know, a little dorky. But hey, if I don't do it, who will?

As a gunner, it would have to be the City of Anvala.

Hmm, I quite like Paritus. A lot of things sum up the post-catastrophe world of Icarus but this place has it all- the monolithic wrecks, the idea that it was once a great city etc.
Also it was the birthplace of the Icarus and all further airships essentially, and a key environment in the storyline.
I still feel my answer is a little typical. Better than an abandoned ice village/fort.

I don't know if they are going to put this city back, but i was fond of the Yesha capital of Chang-ning. That whole oriental feel around that city and how its one of the fastest growing city in game.

As an engineer I find Fallow cool, but Kian and Anvala certainly have their draws too.

Kian and her desolate ice wastes. Deep in the night, when the horns sound the coming raids of another pirate you can hear the response of a creature in the valleys and cloudy peaks. A deep rumble that shakes the walls of cliffs, cracks the ice and sends snow tumbling down from its perch.
The mournful cry of a Cloud Whale, an ancient beast and Lord of all the sky.

as a gunner, I almost feel like I should say Anvala, But I would say that Paritus intrigues me...

I like Sarin. It reminds me of a small tribe that's starting to grow into something more. Maybe one day it can even out match those snobbie's in that big city of Anvala

Definitely Paritus. For Captain Magellan it makes sense. He's a skilled pilot and a savvy engineer. Probably found his way into the ruins, saw the plans of the Icarus and designed his own airship.

I have a difficult time not picking "Sarin" but for its name alone.

Put in a vote for Anvala. I wouldnt be much of an Admiral without a fleet.

I just used the ones listed on the website, as linked earlier in the thread. I can think of Chang-Ning and maybe a couple of others mentioned from the original GoI.

So I can name more planets after GOI towns in Stardrive. The poor planet of Anvala was sacced by the Humans, filthy humies.

Capitals of the factions.
Anglean Republic: Kinforth
Yesha Empire: Chang-ning
Fjord Baronies: Lord's Leap
Order of Chaladon: Averna
Merchantile Guild: Vychtorg
Arashi League: Alleron
Of all those there's currently only information about Chang-ning and Lord's leap that I've found.
