Title: Rage quit rememdy
Post by: Arturo Sanchez on December 30, 2015, 08:35:13 pm
If a pilot ragequits and that ship dies

and a new pilot joins during respawn screen.

The pilot can choose to spawn as the last ship they have on.

Certainly makes stomps less common as reverse stomps can happen.

How would you solve crew loadouts?

Also the people that were 'Ready' in the lobby against the rage quitting ship chose so because they knew what the ship was, they suddenly then get a different opponent to fight that they don't even know the loadout of.
Not to mention its pretty unrealistic, and to be completely honest, it requires additional coding muse will most likely never do.

i think that could be fun, if nobody knows what the other ships are, its a penalty for hardcountering someone, which there is not at ALL at the moment. i say do this and let all the try hards worry that they might have to fight something else

make the abandon match trick common knowledge (just not the change class one, because you some ass of a scrub will change to gunner mid game)

No.

1) Enemy team is expecting a certain loadout
2) crew is expecting certain loadout
3) it is optional to join a mid match game. You take the risk and can view everyone's loadout (as well as ships) before you commit.

I enjoy joining midmatch. I do it very often.

Punish the rage-quitting captain. Not their opponents.
