I backed GOI on kick-starter and participated in the beta testing. But I do not have the corresponding badges. (I've got the shirt from KS to prove it :P)
I brought this up before (year and a half ago about) but no one seemed to want or were too busy to help. So that, coupled with the the whole "Everyone thought the kick-starter included adventure mode" debacle, I haven't played in a while because I lost a bit of faith in the devs. Now with adventure mode (hopefully/finally) right around the corner I'd like to try and cement that trust and buy a pre-order pack, but without something as simple as proof of my backing being gifted for all who see my profile to be jealous of, I don't know if I can trust the devs with another 50 dollars worth of promises.
I really do want to support this game, I played the original and love the online version. So I'll probably end up buying the Adventure mode pre-order pack in any case...
TL;DR = Gimme what I'm owed... please!

They activated the kick-starter badge within a couple hours of the request.
Very polite and timely.
