I've played a few rounds with him, but I can't help but feel the people found in most lobbies lack the wits and ability to take orders I wish my teammates would have. I played with some Gentlemen today and thought it would be fun to join up, if possible. I rate myself as a competent engineer and pilot, with particular emphasis on the Galleon, Goldfish, and Pyramidion. I am of course willing to support ships in any capacity. My ships are the Blade, the Freaky Constantina, and the Chungus Royale respectively, if you've ever flown with me before.
In terms of behavior, I would say I'm generally mature and laid-back, although I have been known to laugh with a certain amount of enthusiasm in certain situations.
I was part of a high-end raiding guild on my WoW server. We finished most of the raid content for BC and WotLK before I stopped playing, so I think that establishes my capability for teamwork. I know when to speak up and when to shut up. I was also fairly good at Gunz, which was quirky but fun 3rd person free-to-play shooter.
I have a mic, and a pretty good PC / internet connection. US East Coast based. Steam page follows.

You guys have definetly made our start into the clan scene as rugged as possible. I've just watched the stream of the match and I'm quite sure our late comeback wouldn't have been possible if your pilots didn't have had those lag spikes they've complained about in the interview after the event.
That beeing said I think we'll learn a lot from the match against you. I hope scenes like our horrible first engagement will not repeat and we definetly need to work on our target prioritization.

This may be inappropriate, or maybe redundant, but I'm going to hijack your thread for a second to tell you what you already know, why your build was so brilliant today.
Three months ago and earlier the standard game meta was two pyramidions, each one had two close range brawling weapons on the front (gatt+flak/mortar) and two long range sniping weapons on the side (mercs, always mercs). This really went away about two months ago. Junkers became extremely popular, and pyramidions needed to develop trifecta tactics to deal with Junker brawling, the dual purpose pyramidion really vanished from top tier play.
And then Gentleguard came to a tournament. You were given a patch that came with a new gun, and radically changed just about every gun. Instead of doing what everyone else did, you appropriated this ancient Pyramidion meta for the new weapon changes. And it was awesome. It wasn't even the merc/artemis sides, or the Hades that blew me away, it was the carousel. That carousel was the heavy lifting gun on your team, an absolute first in competitive history.
I learned a lot today Gents it was a real privilege to play against such an exquisitely designed build.

Hey all, I just wanted to offer a brief explanation for the less than ideal circumstances that transpired earlier today, since I think more than anyone, we owe one to you.
First and foremost, I think it's worth mentioning that I consider the Gents to be at the forefront of Guns of Icarus and I have nothing but respect for your clan and its level of competitive play.
Unfortunately as some of you know, it was tough scheduling our match as many of us were playing on extremely tight schedules. The match was delayed 15 minutes as we waited for the organizers. We did begin the match but unfortunately the streamer asked that we surrender the match in progress, though we had already begun battling, due to his recording software not functioning (there may have been disconnects as well, but I hadn't noticed any until after the match was surrendered). Some of your players were struggling to reconnect and it became clear after considerable time transpired from our initial start time, that we would not have enough time to play through all of our matches before several of our players needed to leave for work.
At this point our level of frustration at the organizers was extremely high. We had spent dozens of hours preparing for our match and it was clear that your team had as well but due to organizational issues neither of our teams would be able to play the game we'd been preparing for tirelessly. Though we would have really liked to schedule another match, the Paddling in its current form, due to real life issues, outside and unrelated to Anvalan or anything else in GOI, will no longer being competing in GOI.
It's clear to me that you were within the top two best teams in GOI, and I wanted nothing more than to determine which of our sides was the best. The chance to see who was the best was stolen from us, but to me at least you guys are now the best team in Guns, and I look forward as other teams try and prove otherwise.

Dear sirs, I am quite perplexed by the notion of how a fox does communicate, and wish to know post haste.The truth is buried in legend, my good sir. There are those that maintain, through the most prevalent of rumours, that they make strange and overly childish noises whilst keeping in time with a beat of constant tempo. I say this is heresy.
