For research purposes (some day when I get enough answers I'll e-mail it to the Devs perhaps) - what is the one thing that you think is most needed in GOIO right now. Name one (or two) things where the first is a must-have and a second may be the second must-have.
For me it would be more maps (and more ballanced ship designs).

The ability to go into practice matches for classes that aren't lvl 1 yet.
(Bit personalized, I can see the flaws of such a thing, but that might get fixed once my piloting can actually man a squid)

2v2 and 4v4 desert scrap
2v2 Firnfeld
deathmatch refinery, 2v2 dm refinery
etc.
and, muse to change the design paradgim to add tools for gunners, and passives for engineers.

I want new maps, and the ability to do practice mode on all maps. Seems like we are getting both, hopefully.

granted, I skimmed the dev chat, but I didn't hear anything about practice maps. the email I have from Howard indicates a completely new map, not practice on all maps, though maybe things have changed since then? did you hear otherwise somewhere?

Hi Shaelyn,
Just another note on practice map, we've actually created one, but it still needs to be hooked up, and that takes time that we haven't had the time for. So I guess we're half way done, but not quite there yet.

...Disaster, I'm finally getting around to your original question.
generally, what I want most is stuff so I won't get bored of the game - so essentially, for the devs to keep expanding it. maps and music are probably the things that I'm going to get bored of first, so, more music and more maps. generally also, for the game to stay rewarding. the relationships I'm making in the game are a big part of that, but the thing Muse can control is that I don't want to hit a cap in the achievement/leveling system too quickly and not have room to progress any further - which is also changing next update. very interested to see what's all going to come out of this update.

Better tutorials that are REQUIRED before you play matches.

1. Fun (for example: less glitches, more fixes, larger mapvote etc)

I'm sorry if i misunderstood the op. Didn't see it was about skirmish only. (wonder why i bothered even posting).
Just more extensive mapvote and fresh maps then.

I'd totally kickstart an update giving birds physics, allowing us to first roast them with the flamethrower then reel them in with harpoon for an on-flight dinner. Or alternatively, just splattering them with a gatling gun.

I want to be able to shoot the birds. That'd be excellent target practice.

More heavy weapon weapons, and perhaps support weapons for light and heavy guns
Also I hope they add new maps for Skirmish mode soon, it gets boring knowing every single map perfectly
