Title: The Wall, take [2], Killstealer edition
Post by: AbbyTheRat on October 04, 2014, 01:13:41 am
*tap tap, feedback* is this thing on? Oh Hello.

Listen carefully, this indestructible tape will self destruct 5 seconds after the message is played, so I will only say this once as the indestructible tape will self destruct after the message is played once.

There's report of a mass slaughter in this thread (https://gunsoficarus.com/community/forum/index.php/topic,3284.0.html) found in the pit, someone or something has escaped the pit and now we need player more than ever to defeat the unbeatable foe before it take on the rest of the forums. This is our last defense before the firewall, our last defense.

Nothing is more is known about this foe, but you can ask the GM to look at it. In fact, you can use look as one free action to look at anything. For example, look at this stupid tape, I'm not sure it's should be smoking like this but it's a indestructible tape, with a magnetic strip and a hole to allow the head to seek. Stop it GM, I didn't mean to look now, I just..

ahem, nothing is known about foe, it's a flying evil robot named Killstealer with stupid amount of power and damage. We are providing you with a base that has some top notch tech that will .. *whispers can be heard in the background*what? Er, due to budget cuts that  happened just this moment, we're providing you a basic base with some basic buildings.. .. er.. some basic buildings and a few tents. You'll find out when you spawn in, just don't forget your training in your class. We are sparing you one of our special tool that allow you to modify or create items of any size, got extra steam power and cogs.. they say the extra steam is fine and they put it through rigours testing, only one tester had their face removed, and only half had minor steam burns, this is pretty good records.

I have heard from QFP that GM may give more stats, or more details on the rules or tips if action is used for research. Remember, because we're such dumbasses and stupid Generals/Admirals/Whatever we are, stop making me say this shit GM, we made strict rules that everyone can only move once, and do one action.

Try praying, last thing you want is something, we smartasses call, Critical fails, so aim for the Natural Success! Don't worry about ammo, like the skies, Guns of Icarus Online, is unlimited but there are some rules about it.. which *crackle fizzzzzzzzzzzzz bob bob fizz* for use in weapons. I have no idea what Guns of Icarus Online is, but it sounds like some sort of skynet to me here.

Huh, what does this flashing light mean? anyway, we have one final intel to share, build arm....*beep beep beep*

The tape starts to let off a poof of black smoke, and doesn't stop.. than it changes colour.. soon it changes rapid thou all the colours of the rainbow then suddenly stopped smoking. Goddamn indestructible tape. The GM knew she shouldn't have used that kind of tape but it was so cute with the label "Straight Tape". Silly Labels.

GM: tl;dr READ THE DAMN LORE!

To everyone spawning in for the first time:
You wake up to find yourself staring up at the ceiling, when you look to your sides, you see a couple of beds with lots of wires coming off the beds, you jump off to notice that you have a folder in your hand. It seems to be some sort of pad with cogs and soft puffs of steam coming from various corners. It seems to share data about what you know from the tape before you did the rather pleasant job of having your atoms scanned and then getting shot in the face. (Why the goddamn face?!)

On the datapad, it says
As you reached the end, you noticed some more text appear on your pad that wasn't mentioned in the tape

First Tip: building and modification and using Vehicle may get you far.
Second Tip: teamwork matters.. but I'm not stopping evilness from getting in the way of process cause, I, the GM, is also evil.

p.s. looking and researching is great.

You notice there's no more text on the datapad, so you try to head out and noticed a barrier with the text saying, "pick your tool". You look after and see that there's 3 tools on a table next to you. Remembering your training you reach to pick the tool of your selected class, Kero for pilots, Buff Hammer for Gunners and Steam Powered Research Computer for Engineers.

After picking up your tool, you noticed you can step out but when you tried, you noticed some weird control chip in your brain, when you look at your reflection, you see two tiny hose running into your head and back out. (it's run on steam power.. yeashhh, wouldn't want to be ya). It stopped you making a second action this turn.

(OOC: To make things easier on everyone, OCC should be in brackets, started with OOC: and made italic, like this one. Most game related question is best asked in game via research, however, for fourth wall breaking fun.  Respawn takes one action and this is a different system made from scratch, it actually has more rules and structure then Oliver's more free flowing Wall, I'm the GM, he's my assistant. If you're unsure about anything, you can ask in OOC or send me or Oliver a PM and we'll tell you either what is known, basic question confusion cleared up or that more research is needed.

Technically, everyone joining starts on their second turn although the games is on the first turn right now cause confusion and I'm evil like that.

I hope everyone enjoys this game and love the stuff me and Oliver have put into it

Have fun.

edit: p.s. OOC Discussion thread can be found here (https://gunsoficarus.com/community/forum/index.php/topic,4915.0.html)

--From a higher plane of existence, -Muse- Jacob observes Goldenglade as he ventures forth into the world that has been forged anew.--
--He realises that the GM has created sanctions that prevent him from popping in an out of the plane as he pleases. Ergo, if he is to join in, he must stay in.--

"I can't hack it and I can't leave....This is the challenge I was hoping for! Fear not, peasants; I shall take back control of this world for the Musegods and for the noble players who do so feedback provide!"

I materialise in the mysterious starting area. Tools clatter to the ground as I attempt to pick the Table instead of the tools.

((OOC: I can make my own tools later...right?))

RedRoach spawns in with a nasty, NASTY headache. Probably from warping from near destruction in 5 seconds to steam-powered pipes. He looks at the table. Though he's not a pilot, he technically "could" make his own hammer later, and what was this com-pu-tar thing anyway? Besides, kerosene is flammable. Explosive + Flame FTW

(OOC Please tell me I'm allowed an infinite amount of this tool, and that I can use it like a normal tank of kerosene so I can make some fun toys.

*Mac joins the game*
He immediately begins work on the bomb factory, with room for expansion via output pipes on the structure. It, by default outputs bombs to all weapons, along with it itself dealing damage using a built-in cannon that is able to target anything.

Looking around the room I change into a new set of clothing, store my luggage and head outside.

Outside I go to the nearest telegraph station and go about hiring a work crew.

"I need some manpower."

"Any specific reason why?" Says the voice on the other end.

"We have... respawned, you know what this entails."

"We'll send you the best, good luck, skies above have mercy."

Keon, after seeing what his creation has done, would like to:

MOVE to tool cabinet.
LOOK at what the heck the engineer tool looks like.
GRAB Steam Powered Research Computer

Turn 2:
LOOK at KillStealer
MOVE behind wall or inside building
CONSTRUCT Construction Crane:

Construction Crane:
Intended to increase building speed of future projects. Can be moved around and used to construct buildings or ships. Also if one of you becomes spiderman we can have a scene where we all turn the cranes for you to swing on because it's not like spiderman can swing on buildings and doesn't need cranes or anything.

-Muse- Jacob:
Jacob tired to take the table and was bounced back into the room. It seems the table is not a valid tool and must pick a class like everyone else. The control chip puffs slightly and you realised you're still can take an action as this turn was invalidated and he's still on turn one. You also realise that you still have another action and movement after selecting a tool.

(ooc: more research needed)

Felkin:
The GM took pity and wanted to remind Felkin that he still has a movement left.. why he reminded Felkin that.... Nupe, GM still Evil.

Redroach:
After selecting Kero, RedRoach remembers all his pilot training and noticed that he still has another action and movement to take for turn two of his character.

(ooc: it possible or not.. more research needed)

macmacnick:
When macmacnick tried to leave the barrack, he was rebuffed by the barrier on the wall, he could make a bomb for his second turn but he still need to use his first time to select a weapon. Damn barrier. So Cold.

piemanlives:
Walks right into macmacnick trying to leave the same damn room without a damn tool. That Barrier gives no .. ahem. You can look for a work crew after a valid turn one.

Keon:
Keon gets a random bonus point for making things easy for the GM. Does it matter? Maybe, GM doesn't give information without da money, I mean research.
as Keon looks at the Steam Powered Computer, he notices a puff of smoke. Here's a picture of such a devices. (http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs71/f/2014/124/e/0/steampunk_laptop_by_nabidee-d7h2nwh.jpg)

he looks at the Killstealer high up in the sky out of reach, he can see a faint outline, a brief beep from the datapad that everyone carries around, a picture and some texts appears. Everyone else also receives the same pictures and text on their datapad.. it seems that this object is linked to everyone else.
(http://www.halloweenforum.com/attachments/halloween-costume-ideas/189218d1388719132-help-want-build-steampunk-robot-costume-115f23785071d5df696637ba4c8746e1.jpg)
We have found a picture from one of the surviving camera, It is noticed that in the picture that the killstealer had no way of flying, yet it he is up there. Did he build something to help him fly?
New Tip: Look around.

FredTheFifth:
Gets a extreme headache, the control chip puffs angrily.  Stopping him from slamming into piemanlives and macmacnick. The extreme headache seem to be the cause of turn two being invalid, there's no ship to move onto in the open and thus the GM offers suggestions of looking around, and still have 2 action and 2 movement allowed. You know your first movement is to move outside so you just have to pick a tool and give a second action.

(ooc: If you're not in this list, it's because your actions has been counted as valid and no GM feedback is needed, turns will be processed at the end of the turn post. ^_^ )

LOOK at remains of ruined wall, if they still exist and were not obliterated. (By the way don't bother delaying E.O.T. for this, it won't modify my actions.)
Title: Re: The Wall, take [2], Killstealer edition
Post by: AbbyTheRat on October 04, 2014, 05:35:07 pm
(ooc: E.O.T is not soon, there's a set duration per turn... and it's longer than a day, research is required for more information on E.O.T and length of time.)

Keon:
Keon tried to look at the remains of the ruined wall, the previous boss defeated but the distance is too huge to be able to glean anything. This gives you the sense that this new battlefield is many miles and kilometers and inches and teemo units away from the pit that holds the wall.

RedRoach looks at the kerose more closely. He figures that it should be flammable and that it, like moonshine (bless this strange world) should be infinite. However, it's one tank.

RedRoach proceedes to utilize some of his past engineering skills to make a duplicating machine that can replicate 1 item for repeated use, but with upgrades can be expanded to up to 4 items. It should take 3 turns.

(OOC: WHAT THE HELL IS THAT THING!? I remember seeing the killstealer as a bomb throwing drone, not a steampunk golem with guns!

RedRoach looks at the Kero closely and see that it IS flammable and seem to always be full no-matter how often he opens the values. He does notice a small dent.

(ooc: Maybe he was.. maybe that's how he threw a bomb, with those guns..maybe, just maybe the GM did a let Retcon, who knows, that's one badass steampunk golem that can throw bombs and is out for blood.)

Felkin:
You looked around very quickly, counting five buildings and finds a mound with a concrete doorway,
(http://www.vratovrazka.bg/images/stories/actualno/news/zero_hotel/bunker.jpg),
before dunking into the bunker, you also noticed there's a extremely large field beside the largest building you've ever seen but only cared about getting into safety. At least you're not blind or about to be blown up. Boo.

RedRoach:
As you have yet to leave or do as the GM noticed no movement taken just two actions, you look around the building you spawned in, it has small amount of bunk beds with pipes running off each one. It leads off into a locked room which you notice seems to be fairly smoking, like a boiler room. The wall is very bare and you notice this feels like a barrack where soldiers sleeps or in this case, this is where the GM spawns people in.. cause.. personal housing?

You took a moment to look outside through many windows, you could tell the barrack has flimsy walls. Those jerks, the GM workers couldn't make the spawn point a sturdy location. Note to self, sack the workers for making the barrack stronger than the suggested specification and fire it out the village killer. You could make out four other buildings, two of them being tents with one a red cross on a white circle. Kinda like this (http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120410055842/gtawiki/images/f/f9/RedCross.jpg), the other has a light bulb, how odd. You could just make out someone dragging a computer into a building nearly buried into the ground. The last building looks kinda like this
(http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kmy2shHyLZk/T4KkqHRnY-I/AAAAAAAABqw/h1x0ZopPpiw/s1600/Hullavington%2Bhangar%2Btype%2BE.jpg) (http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-kmy2shHyLZk/T4KkqHRnY-I/AAAAAAAABqw/h1x0ZopPpiw/s1600/Hullavington%2Bhangar%2Btype%2BE.jpg)
Just much much much, many times, bigger.. it's huge.

You also noticed that the place is surrounded by open space with one large field next to the large building. You couldn't see any NPC but considering this is a battlefield, that's a good thing.. It wasn't because the GM is a lazy ass or anything. No siree. Get out of here, Applejack.

You couldn't tell who have already left but you did see FredTheFifth takes the 7th Computer as an Engineering class, so many engineers spawned in.

Looking for your fellow comrades, you notice a very handsome fellow, making a mess of the exit area. He seems unable to grab a tool and grabbed a table instead. The GM thinks this fine person is playing Surgeon simulator instead. You did notice that the person had a green name tag with the name Jacob on it.

GoldenGlade:
Counting five buildings, including the one that holds the wall behind you. You also noticed a fellow engineer sitting next to you, messing with his building tool, you could tell that he's going to start building a crane.. right next to the wall you're hiding. You look up and notice that while it providing cover, it's not really going to stop a murderous rampaging robot from targeting you. Of all the buildings, the largest building and the bunker offers the most protections as far you can tell. The GM could make another long descriptive text but she's lazy and just points you to the text talking about what RedRoach sees. How you could see a GM pointing, well, this is a very strange world.

I wake up, not sure where I am. I take in my surroundings and try to think back. I seem to remember a few things (https://gunsoficarus.com/community/forum/index.php/topic,3284.msg59522.html#msg59522) but nothing is coming back to me very clearly. Did I die? Is that a thing I can do now? If I do will I come back to life right here?...

I get up and naturally grab the kerosene. I head out the door and look around at the array of people doing nonsensical things, then take a moment to look about me for something that could be used to start a fire.

You could not see anything to start a fire with but you have special tool that everyone have to allow you to build stuff, you could build a campfire with self igniting fire or a torch or something with the special tool.

We are sparing you one of our special tool that allow you to modify or create items of any size, got extra steam power and cogs.. they say the extra steam is fine and they put it through rigorous testing, only one tester had their face removed, and only half had minor steam burns, this is pretty good records.

You took a look at your tool, it's hard to describe the tool but it looks like an expandable item spawner, it works by placing it on the location of the final location and it moves around and builds it like a 3D printer, bring the material in the same way everyone spawns in. This steam technology is marvelous, this model has extra gearing cogs and higher steam pressure that allows it to build items faster however the larger the items the longer it take to build an item. It does seem to slow down at times, making it inconsistent in building speed. It also have the power to modify pre-existing items at a faster speed.

You can see each of your teammates(maybe? up to them, watch your back) also carrying the same tool. It seems like it can only work on item at a time but works unassisted leaving you free to do something else where it does it thing. The thing feels sturdy, almost indestructible but remember the reports of someone face being reported that you couldn't but feel just a tad cautious.

Replaceable
Replaceable looks around, bad news, this being an active base, no shades of glass, good news however there's the barrack with windows but just like the door, they are a barrier not made of glass but you get the idea , another good news is that the fields would have a bunch of rocks but with some more bad news, it doesn't seem like any of them would be the right kind of rocks for using as a flint.

I set down my developer and program in 2 files - one for a lighter and one for a parachute. Then I look to see if there are any attachments where I can hook up my kerosene to the developer to artificially increase its operating speed.

After RedRoach waits for a long, long while, he begins to wonder when the day will end. His computer chip has tired itself out, and damn, when you're paralyzed because your chip says no, it's really frustrating when you've got a project and some big plans involving fire and explosions and flamethrower attachments.

KillStealer

*The KS, who was polishing his many medals, looks around to find that a bunch of people are gathering in buildings near him*

"You silly humans. I don't have time for your games."

*KS uses his built-in weapon to attack Replaceable, Macmac, Pieman, Redroach and Redria as they come out without taking cover, then he turns to see Keon and Goldenglade trying to hide behind a wall and shoots at them as well*

"That was a big mistake, MWAHAHAHAH!"

*The KS seems to be pretty damn crazy*

END OF TURN REPORT!

GoldenGlade:
You nabbed a computer and ran outside only to quickly hid behind the Barrack Wall. You set down your tool to build an armored shield to protect everyone. After a small brainstorming session, you programmed into the developer the specs for a shield. It's fairly large so the developer tool starts moving around the floor next to your barrack wall. It'll be ready in 6 turns.

Jacob:
You stayed firming inside the barrack, looking at Fred outside, you notices a red dot being painted on him, then after check how many awesome games is on the SPRC, one game lured you into it, it's very similar to this one but more awesome with graphics. A lot more.

Felkin:
You found yourself in the cold bunker slowly getting warmed up from your body heat, safe in the bunker you took your time to look up Old Man Henderson. That bad ass, crazy sob did not exist in this universe and Old Man Henderson wouldn't dare reborn here due to lack of babes, gnomes and good cigars from the Wars.

RedRoach:
RedRoach remained in the thin walls of the barrack with Jacob for company. After the first person to pick up the kero, you admired it and checked it out before setting your Developer down, the Developer acted a little confused before it came up with you requested item. It ends up building another Developer which will take 6 turns. The steam seems to be a little lower, slowing the building down.

macmacnick:
Rolling out side with your newish thingy computer you decided that you GOT to have another damn bomb factory and cannon, due to it large and multi-functional design, the developer popped up a warning noting that it'll need to build a base item then set to modify it to add connections and/or add cannon function to the bomb factory. It rolled away after accepting it, it'll take 10 turns before base item is fully functional. The GM cringed as she notes the max roll on the dice plus size turn. (ooc: rolled a 6 + 4 for large size item, ouch)

piemanlives:
You just couldn't do things normally so you attempt to smash your computer to put a hole into the wall, causing 4 damage to your computer, putting your computer at  146 hp (That's some sturdy computer!) In the end, you just went through the barrier as you picked up the tool for your class and it allowed you through. You also did 4hp of damage to the Barrack, leaving it at 196 HP. Damnit, pieman, damnit.

Keon:
After picking yet another damn computer, is anyone actually going to take a gunner?! You moved outside then attempted to hide behind the barrack. You took a look to see what is the fastest way to build but sadly, the developer can't change one material into another, merely transport it from storage. You put the Developer onto the ground after programming a crane and it starts printing it. It'll take your developer 7 turns to build into the sky.

FredTheFifth:
After setting your developer down to build a flare cannon, taking 3 turns to do after the developer realised it could a modified blueprint of the flare gun that exists allowing for a faster build time, you notice a growing shadow upon looking up, you noticed that the Killstealer didn't see you.

Replaceable:
You napped the computer and used the reflection on the computer screen with help from the sun outside to give yourself a preen, gaining 10 Charisma to which the GM notes on your character sheet. She couldn't help but raise an eyebrow to your looks. More Charisma needed to cause any sway with the Killstealer or GM/aGM and you notice a red dot next to you slowly moving onto your head.

redria:
You looked for a attachments however your developer had no attachments available without using another developer to modify it and so you set it down, you attempted to add a parachute to the developer but it only accepted one input and you can feel it puffing and the cogs turning, wanting to get building your lighter. Setting the developer down onto a table, it seems to have leaked steam a tad causing a big slow down and will take 6 turns to build the lighter.  (ooc: ouch, another max roll there, rolled a 6, no modification for tiny size object.)

KillStealer:
KillStealer readies his weapon and fires, targeting many players left in the open.

Replaceable
The GM draw drops are Replaceable pulls some matrix stuff, making time go slow to avoid the projectiles from the Killstealer. Not that it matters, the KS was a terrible shot on Replaceable, Replaceable walks away with his pretty hair.

macmacnick
Just as with Replaceable, the KS rushed too much he could not land a shot on him. Is the Killstealer ever going to land anything?

piemanlives
The Killstealer learned his lesson and controlled his breath to land his shots on piemanlives. Not that I've ever seen the Killstrealer breath but he doesn't give a crap and shoots off 24 hp off piemanlives. Now down to 73 health points left. I think I gave a lot of hints about armor?

RedRoach
The Killstealer huffed and puffed sending down a shower of bullets that RedRoach couldn't avoid it, taking 36 damage, leaving him at 114 hp. It's a good job Pilots are very healthy compared to engineers. Still, that health tent is looking very sexy right about now.

redria
He couldn't avoid the bullet showers either but he manage to avoid the blunt of it, taking just 6 damage, leaving them at 144 hp.

Keon
Even with hiding behind the barrack walls, could not stop the Killstealer from hovering above his head and shooting straight down, in his attempt to dodge the bullets, he tripped and fell but thankfully saved himself from taking more damage (ooc: you had a fail, but you saved yourself on the saving roll and then.. KS got a natural success on his damage.. ) but the bullet still landed true... right on his head, dealing 93 damage to Keon. The Armor all engineers carry as basic couldn't save him. Leaving him bloodied, close to dying with just 7 hp left. The GM doesn't want Keon to die and suggests the Medical tent for his next move.

GoldenGlade
After a super close dodge, the bullet nicks GoldenGlade armor and slide inside his legs burning off 8 hp. It could have been worse if it wasn't for the armor and the cover. Good job Golden. He's down to a reasonable 92 hp.

Everyone's database chimes in, it's a battle report of everything that happened. The GM sent a few more tips to help,

Tip one: everything has stats based on their chosen class.
Tip two: Vehicles can protect you! There are some in your world, I wonder what's in the largest building.

You can now leave the developer to finish building so you may move to a new location and take a new action. Which means, everyone has a new action and movement to play with.

I think a little. Then, stopping construction, I LOOK at the kerosene on the table. There's a suprisingly large amount of kerosene there. WTF was I doing? Even if I could build the replicator, there's still enough kerosene there to keep me going, and I have this developing tool that could get me more!

I CHANGE construction to a hand-held Dragon-Tounge light flamethrower. The concepts of envisioned developer's tool are now hidden but present in construction.

Keon:
(ooc: keon, yes/no, in medical tent healing is a free action as like last game, however you can also increase healing stuff by doing things like using first aid kit or whatever if you desire. The developer builds unassisted so while it takes a while, it does not tie you down)

As you lay yourself on the bed, you look out toward the largest building and guessed it's an airship hangar, however the doors are currently close. Not allowing anyone to see the content of it.

GoldenGlade:
As you look around the tent, you can see it has a lot of beds, tons of first aids and even a surgery room off to one side if players get deathly hurt. You thought about the Surgery and you get the feeling you and other players can assists in the recovery of others even with no apparent training or skills for surgery.. what an odd thing, no need to worry about it, just have a cuppa and recover.

RedRoach
It's still a darn kero tank, it has an attachment on one end, with a value tap. You do get a feeling that it could have a special function, being a pilot.

Damnit, there's an appear to be as many tools as there are players. So there's nothing left on the table as they all taken a tool unless someone spawns in then there's at least one extra tool to allow for them pick their class. Lazy GMing, totally.

Currently, the table is on it side and any tools spawning in is actually picked off the floor, blame Jacob.

Looking at the killstealer I realise I'm gonna need a bigger flare gun, so I move near a very stable server and start work on the heavy flare CANNON

You're actually building a heavy flare gun..

Keon:
Your research on body armor and helmet has come up with some information. All Engineers have basic body armor as part of their class, it's at d20+10. It works by reducing damage at a d100(min 10%) percentage. Armor does not work if the damage is too great to be blocked. (Armor can actually cause more damage if it doesn't block anything). There's also Armors on Vehicle that reduce damage taken to their HP. GM sorta tells Keon somehow secretly not so secretly that due to some random rule change that he still has an action.

Redria:
As you move inside the Research tent, you notice there's several tools that helps the developer as well as one or two computer, much larger than the Engineer's computer, maybe this will help engineers research more. Maybe that's something to try out. The tent flaps slightly to the breeze outside.

Replaceable:
It took some serious googling and quite possible talking to KillStealer himself to actually find out. (You pretended to be another Murderous AI to extract this information from him). It's a mix of human blood with a dash of fresh stream and used engine oil.

While you research, you took a moment to look at FredTheFifth's outfit. It's whatever he's wearing right now as a Engineer in GoI.

Felkin
The walls are mostly bare,  but there's some food you can find at the end of the bunker. You can see it's a really sturdy construction able to withstand a lot of the KS's attacks if he decides to attack buildings.

Your research have come up with

KillStealer-Attributes
HP1000000/1000000Critical Failure Immunity
Defenced6Mulit-target

Damaged20*3Increased Mobility

ACTION:STASHED medical supplies into a small portable bag to assist on the battlefield. small enough to not hinder my movements but large enough so that it can safetly carry what could quickly save a life, Goldenglade then assists Leon in healing with a trauma kit, judging his own wounds to be minor in comparison.

macmacnick:
You looked up on Stream Icarus Search Net about how to speed up the developer at building stuff. There are several ways, you could borrow a developer from someone else to half the turn. Developer take time based on a number of factors, is there an existing item (final roll reduced by half, rounded up), is the item learned (as in, researched or has been built before, reduced by a third) the size of the object being built. Modifications naturally has a lower turn roll but the more complex the modification the longer it takes.

GoldenGlade:
You learned so much about first aid, that you can now save someone from dying and having to respawn as long as they don't go below -25 hp You only restore them to 1hp on this turn. Because of your amazing knowledge, everyone now have a choice to respawn or wait, losing 5hp per turn. Each turn you work on someone above 0 hp will restore d20 + 5 hp up to their max HP. You now carry first aid kit as standard.

RedRoach:
Assuming he is an engineer, what if he takes gunner? Action deemed invalid and you're left with staring at table and empty space.

DAMMIT GM!

I yell out towards the remainder of engineers who haven't used their research ability yet, "Research if tools will respawn after they are destroyed!"

(Don't let me down Muse  :P)

Edit: Note - This person is unpredictable.

I change my plans of modifying the hand held Dragon Tongue Flamethrower back into a developer, but with the ability to instantly replicate with controllable velocity anything that passes through a certain point of it instead of just normally replicating it. Like bullets, or kerosene gas, or more develoers, or building materials. (glance at macmacnick)

(OOC: I know people are going to be confused, so imagine a long rectangular box with a small screen on top showing what'll come out of the box. Put a trigger on one of the long sides, and on the end on the other side of the trigger mark off about 1/8 of the box with a small sensor. That portion of the box can be opened, and resized for anything to be put into it. Then, slap a dial on another side of the box that marks speed. Tadaaa! You now have basic concept for a repeater! Pun intended! Add cosmetic details like rusted metal and several welded pieces of metal and limited roundness and TADA!)

Oh well better get started worshiping the new glorious leader.

I'll start building "The Llaw Mk2" Which does the same stuff as the Llaw Mk 1, But with 50% more blinding light!
The Llaw V1 did...

Quote
+1 Culture output
+47% more holy radiating light (Reduces accuracy)
+Allows research to commence on upgrading the walls arsenal.
-Uses bricks from the wall to construct, dealing damage every construction turn.
Except replace "The Wall" with "The Killstealer"

Keon also yells at one of the engies to set their printer to print more printers because we need at least 10 printers per person.

(OOC is that 50% + 49% = 97% blinding light, or is that 1.5*47%= 70.5 % blinding light? I need to know exactly how much more blinded I'm going to be. Also are you using bricks from the Killstealer? I don't think he'd like that.)

)

So I'll change some stuff from the first post

I grab Kerosene because Pilot is awesome, I then step out side, squint towards the faint hazy silhouette of the old Wall and immediately head to the hangar where I intend to find a Pyramidion and head to the old destroyed Wall so I can go scavenge all the old buildings / weapons and use them to destroy the players attacking the KillStealer.
I failed in my crazy defence mission last "The Wall", it shall not happen again!

- Grab Kerosene
- Go outside
- Head to hangar to prep a Pyramidion for launch (Or can I just start flying towards the destroyed Wall this turn?)

(OOC: That better Abby? :3)

I head over to the computer and research the kerosene bottle. What is the internal pressure? If it can release infinite kerosene, does it build up inside increasing the pressure, or does it just create more as it is used? Is the valve at the end directional? Can I adjust how open it is or is it just a binary open/not open?

redria:
After going into the tent you used one of the computer to research the kero.

Kero, Provide Extra Power To All Engines.  d10 to Accuracy and dodge, reduce defense by -2, last for d4 turns   1 Takes an action to use
Stats for your Kero, ID: Kero2. Owned by redria.  It has 30/30 Hp, d10 defense, and for an odd reason for such an object, d4 Dodge.

It use is considered infinite however the pressure remains steady due to failsafe, only to add in as used to keep the pressure steady. Values at one end face straight out, with a tap. Other use of the Kero have not been considered by the GM because she's lazy, even with all her omnipresence and foresight but not limited. However, it's possible that the kero will explode if handled incorrectly with modifications to it use.

Tools do not respawn upon destruction, however new tools do spawn upon players respawn so they may switch class.

(OOC: End of Turn Later today. Woo)

KillStealer

*Noticing how everyone is taking cover, the KS decides to attack the buildings in frustration. The KS uses his gun to damage all the buildings as much as possible, just aiming everywhere.*

"You're all cowards!"

*The KS then tries to calm down and get his cool back.*

Keon:
As Keon moves to the Medical tent and lays down on one of the beds, feeling relaxed he gains 6 hp to his health, not content with sitting around, he went around and used a first aid kit to bring his health up gaining 15 hp to bring his health to a total of 28

GoldenGlade
After his research and Keon laid down again, you grabbed a fresh set first aid kit and worked on other injuries, healing for 21 hp bring Keon's HP to 49. With all your knowledge of first aid, you wonder if you could improve the medical tent with better felticiles or other sort of modification.

RedRoach:
You pop yourself into the Hangar and changed your construct several times to a repeater. Looking at the plan you could tell some of the features won't be available such as shooting different ammo sizes but it can build an adjustable speed into it.  The developer doesn't know this and at it best guess, it will take 3. Super fast. Seems like the developer you have got some extra steam speeding the whole process up. And the turn is reduced by 1 as you cancelled the previous construction and it still had some materials in memory. It be done 2 turns. As the developer, you drag it along with you into the hanger, running outside from the barrack leaving you exposed to any falling stuff.

redria:
You attempt to poke the kero, as you done so, you could sworn the Kero tank made an attempt to roll away and dodge you but your accuracy was far better than whatever the kero could do, but as you try to poke, you got resisted by the armor, as the kero got a natural success, you hurt your fingers for 2 hp while the kero's defense absorbed 100% of any damage you could have done to it. The GM comes to the conclusion, based on the rolls, that the kero is OP. You nurse your poor bruised fingers, leaving your hit points at a reasonable 142

Replaceable:
You pop into the research joining redria, you looked at him oddly as he nursed his finger then you set your developer to work building pestle and mortar. The developer somehow read your mind and is also producing all the stuff needed to make everything you need for your perfumé once it's spawned it all in. It'll be available next turn.

FredTheFifth:
You sat very still staring at your computer, not realising that your developer is already building the heavy flare cannon. It be done by turn 4. Maybe you lagged.

Felkin:
You got really into look around the bunker, it seems like that you forgot to actually take an action before the turn ended. One thing to say, that's one pretty Bunker Wall, even if the GM say so herself.

macmacnick:
As the research tent was right next to you, you popped in, grabbed the spare developer that was luckily hanging around in the tent and synced it to your construction job and your turn is halved, it be done by turn 6. However, the developer you grabbed seems to be old..

Queso:
You picked up the a computer and wave your hands in a really odd way. You truly believe you're rewriting time but time moves on and you're now an engineer still in the barrack. Seems like the game world does not respond to Muse inputs.

Cheesy Crackers:
You grab the kero and run into the hangar like a madman which the GM kinda think you are but anyway. You took an action to climb a ladder and board a Pyramidion. You are now a proud owner of a Pyramidion and you can fly with other people on the ship, but this is your ship and you're the captain. Ship is already to leave and attack the KillStealer next turn, if so desired. Although you noticed all the hard point are missing weapons. However you could see the Weapons are merely stored away, waiting to be mounted.

KillStealer:
Laughing evilly, the Killstealer just fires a huge wade of cannonballs from his high heights, mostly targeting any building but really, it's going everywhere leaving pits in the ground.

Hangar
Due to some really nifty construction the cannonballs merely rolls down the side, deflexing all the damage from the balls safely into the ground.

Barrack
The barrack was the hardest hit, taking many hits from the falling shower of cannonballs, chunking off 114 hp from it, leaving it at a mere 82 hp.

Basic Medical Tent
The Medical tent fared better, managing to avoid few hits but it after having 57 hp removed, it's down to 93 hp.

Bunker
The Bunker did it job, it dirt armor removing a fair amount of damage, only taking 15 hp, the Bunker is remained with 24985 hp.

Research Tent
The research took solid hit to a tent pole for 42 hp, leaving it at 108 hp.

macmacnick
As macmacnick backed off from setting the second developer down, a cannonball went whizzing down in front of their nose and missed all the toes and the developing construction.

FredTheFifth
Was completely ignored, in fact there's a circle around Fred where no cannonballs fall at all. He was so still, the KillStealer forgot about him.

RedRoach
Running as fast as he can, he dodged all the cannonballs, next turn he'll run into the hangar

Under Construction:
TO BE DONE SOON!

CONSTRUCT developer.

Basically what we're going for here is to get a steady stream of developers rolling out for my BIG construction project, so pretty soon I need to program them to make more automatically. Stay in the research tent.
Research: A list of the Killstealer's favourite things.
(Specifically: music, type of restaurant/food, colour, animal and of course weapon.)

I  assuming I don't have GOI engi tools. (Would totally repair some buildings if I did.)

Look: At the Killstealer's eye colour.

I USE my kerosene to run faster to the hangar. I am now at the hangar as of now.
I CONTINUE construction of the repeater.
I also LOOK around at the hangar.

(OOC: In event that kerosene cannot be used to hasten the speed of the human legs, I spray it around as I run, raising the chance of the air spontaneously combusting from any flames from gunfire, explosions, or flames by 0.01%.)

Due to some silly stuff behind the scenes the GM is correcting a few things and bring things up to date.

Redria
redria health is now down to 142 hp, taking into account damage lost at the end of first turn.

GoldenGlade
Being in the medical tent, GoldenGlade health is restored by 6 hp, bring his health up to 98 hp

Everyone else records is correct and the Constructions information will be posted later.

Squinting in the muggy overcast day, I look around at the devastation caused by a really irresponsible killstealing robot. I waltz over to the research tent with replaceable and scratch myself, and use my buff hammer to buff my skin, making it resistant to killstealering.

RedRoach:
You pop yourself into the Hangar...

Crap, I'm already here!

I MOVE onboard a squid. I, in addition to LOOKING at the hangar's interior, LOOK at the squid, specifically potential gun placements, any guns (or guns stored in the hangar for that matter) and areas of cover to use should the Killstealer focus fire on it's captain rather than it's crew, and I look at Cheesy, who I think is flying in the wrong direction.

Keon:
Research: Developer.
A cool-looking computer that develops things. It seems to run on Stream OS 7 IStream 4.4, the newest and bestest OS that is not even in the market. Take care of it!

Look: Bunker.
You look outside for a moment and notice that the bunker has some scraps, but it's not very damaged. It is designed to take some hits after all.

Replaceable:
Research: A list of the Killstealer's favourite things.
The KS loves all kinds of music: Nirvana, Franz Ferdinand, Slipknot, Britney Spears (the old ones, but not the Disney time ones), Lorde, Mozart, video game soundtracks... nothing too Ariana Grande or 1D though! Food: Pizza 24/7 plz. Color: Blue, though green is also nice. Animals: Cats and jellyfish and snakes are <3. Fave weapon? Words, my friend. They can break a man’s will and twist his mind... MWAHAHAH! Also bombs and lasers.

RedRoach:
Look: Hangar.
You look at the Hangar from the outside. It looks a lot more resistant to damage the place you started in, and it's in top condition at the moment.

Look: Squid.
The Squid can have a light gun on the bow, one on the starboard side and one on the stern. You shouldn’t worry about getting attacked directly if you’re in a ship, though. No guns in the hangar that you can remember.

Look: CheesyCrackers.
You see this young man and his crazy actions. You silently shake your head in disapproval.

GoldenGlade:
Research: Building upgrades.
The upgrades can be made with the Developer, just remember to be as specific as you can.

Felkin:
Research: Weapons to attack KS.
Anything that can deal more damage than I can block ;) Explosives are always useful to have around, I believe.

Piemanlives:
Look: Computer.
Pree cool, isn't it? Lots of pieces... better not take them out, could prove to be harder to put together than a shelf from IKEA. Seems to be running Stream OS 7 IStream 4.4, good luck with that.

macmacnick:
Research: Developer fusion.
What do you think they are, lab rats? You hurt their feelings, man! You’re a monster for even suggesting such a thing! D:

...wait, actually you can. It’s a modification. It would probably make the developer very unstable, though, but the faster building rate is worth it, right?

FredTheFifth:
Somehow, the aGM is blind to your research, you need to move more, as the weapon is a part of the KS, it shares the KS statistic. 1d20 *3 damage and has multi-target. With more research, you can see that you could replicate the Killstealer weapon however it can't match all the functionality of the KS original. It'll still be very powerful. The information is now stored in your developer and will reduce the turn requirements if you decide to build it.

Thanks to aGM for making a post for me, I'm not 100% but the EoT will be posted by the end of today! Any changes to your turns or actions added should be done today! Not all of you used your actions!

End of Turn Report (turn 3)

CONSTRUCTION REPORT:
Completed: Repeater by RedRoach
Completed: Heavy Flare Cannon by FredTheFifth
Completed: Perfume by Replaceable - made to Killstealer's taste

Under construction:
Armored Shield by GoldenGlade - finished on turn 7
Lighter by Redria - finished on turn 7
Crane by Keon - fininshed on turn 8
Base Bomb Factory by macmacnick - finished on turn 6

Keon:
You rolled into the Research tent and then ordered your developer to build a developer. Problem is, just like GoldenGlade in the future, you're already building a crane with the developer so you don't have it on hand.

Replaceable:
You ran as fast as your little fights could take you and stucked into the research tent where everyone seem to be meeting. You couldn't see any mirrors in the tent so you used the webcam on one of the computers to practise some pick up lines and gained + 5 Charisma. Colour for Charisma gain is intentionally Navy. Hard to look at, just like Replaceable now. So bright.

RedRoach:
You mounted the squid and checked around, you could see the weapons are stored in the ships store, any weapons that exist in game are in the ship store, can be mounted at any time and fired for one action, you can dismount a weapon and mount another weapon but this is take an action and not able to be fired after.

FredTheFith:
After hearing someone shout at you about building more developers, you went ahead and built a developer builder.. it fussed in a confused way then blew up on you, dealing 6 damage. I hope you weren't attached to your finger. You're now at 94 hp

GoldenGlade:
You looked around the tattled tent and used your except knowledge of first aid to improves the medical equipments. Using the developer to modify them. You couldn't help but feel you could learn more about medical stuff, possible come a nurse or doctor. There's one problem, your developer is still building the armored shield outside. So you were poking at the machine that goes beep. You're now fully healed from the awesome medical tent at 100 hp

Felkin:
You used your action to do a second research on the computer and have come up with an explosive weapon that you could use on the KS. You put this blueprint into the developer.

Piemanlives:
You tucked into the larger building, which happens to be the hangar, while in there, you get a call on your weird datapad that everyone has. It's the foreman of your work crew. They are too damn scared to come to your location with that murderous monster flying around. And staying right where it's safe and told you to go away, it seems like they blocked your number after hanging up.

Melon:
Rolling into Research with pretty all the other players with a few exceptions, you rudely scratched your butt with the buff hammer.  Seems like you're the reasons that gunners have a bad name! Bad Melon. Sadly, your butt is not considered an item and nothing happens aside getting that itchy spot.. ahhh..

macmacnick:
After your research, you're at a lost and did nothing more this turn.

KillStealer:
Cheesy
The rockets from the KS gun targeted the heats from your engines, however you as you tried to dodge the rockets you brought the ship to a complete standstill allow the rockets do extra damage to you. (Crit fail). The Rockets dealt 52 damage to your ships engines, leaving it at 648 hit points and you slowly limp off to the wall.

Due to the distance and limping engines, it'll take 3 turns, next turn you'll be out of range of the KS.. Maybe.

FredTheFifth
Staying still no-longer helped and allowed the KS to hit a bulleyes on your head causing increased damage, however it seems like the KS Ammo choice was a little off and even with the crit failure of your dodge, it only did 20 damage to you. Leaving you at 74 hp

Cheesy:
You were seen leaving the hangar and getting hit by the Killstealer pretty hard.. and you just limps away instead of a nice gateway. You'll arrive on turn 6. Meanwhile, you could use kero on the damaged engines or explore your ship, maybe the captain's cabin would awesome on your ship?

aGM
Gets a quick slap around the head for mention the fourth wall and is dealt 15651081 damage. He's now at ∞ hp. Nearly dead.

(OOC: Sorry for the late EoT, I fell asleep last night waiting for things.)

As a proof of concept, I take my normal developer and put it in my repeater and pull the trigger. Five times, to be exact. Using any and all developers that are created, I develop an armor that is like standard pyra armor (less amount of hit points, but still same damage modifiers and all damage will go directly towards it)

In the event that repeating developers isn't an okay thing (or that grabbing developers from the tent effectively cancels this action), I put the kerosene in the repeater and duplicate the kerosene twice, now I have 3. With my two spare tanks of kerosene, I begin work on a jetpack. (Essentially two duct-taped tanks with controllable valves.) Due to not having to spontaneously create many materials for the jetpack, the build time is reduced heavily.

Critical fail? Pfft... the engines can take it

Waving my fist angrily at the wall I turn and shout at the engines to go faster, then I head to the captains cabin because I've got this weird voice in my head telling me something awesome is in there. Who's piloting the ship? Meh doesn't matter...

" LI MORTACCI TUA" initiating a necromancy ritual, all in the while being behind a rock to shield himself from the infamous and ever present Killstealer.
