Welcome to the Hephaestus Challenge, the next competitive league for Guns of Icarus Online

For information and rules click here (https://gunsoficarus.com/community/forum/index.php/topic,3999.0.html)

To sign up please provide the following

1. Team name
2. Team logo
3. 2 points of contact
4. 8 initial team members (subs can be used throughout with minimal restriction, check rules for more information)

Sign ups will close 11:59 PM Eastern Daylight Time Monday the 26th of May.
The first match will take place at 4PM Eastern Daylight Time on Saturday the 31st of May.

All sign ups must be done on the forums.

A quick announcement, we've decided to push things back one more week. This is for several reasons. There was some mis-communication among us in leadership with the casters so they thought they had another week. Also several established clans are still restructuring/or simply can't make it this weekend anyway. Lastly, with the sale going on and new clans popping out everywhere we wanted to give them a chance to get stuff together.

Therefore the revised dates are as follows.

Sign ups will end next Monday the 26th at 11:59 PM EDT. The first match will be that Saturday the 31st at 4:00 PM EDT. I will get a mod to edit the first post as well to reflect this. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

During the HC logo contest I sent Sammy a bunch of my logos in original resolutions. By his request. But he managed to ignore it, and posted the logo in web-optimised quality.

If you need tournament logo, thralls logo or ryders logo in tranparent background, I can send original files. Poke me on steam whenever you need me.

Thank you to all the teams who have signed up.
We have 14 teams registered and our first team on the waiting list.

To clarify, Mortem In Caelum missed the deadline and, while we want to accommodate all teams, we have to follow our own rules.

The waiting list is an ordered list of teams who sign up after the deadline. These teams will be approached in order if a participating team drops out, or if a team is needed to fill in for an entertainment match on any given week.

This thread will remain open for teams to sign up to the waiting list. If there are a significant number of teams added to the wait list by midnight tonight EDT (as of posting you have a little under 13 hours) we will see if adding a division and reshuffle is possible.

As of this moment, we have 14 teams which we will divide into two equal divisions of seven. For the next eight weeks, each team will play seven matches, six of them within their own division and one cross division match. By the end of the season the top two teams from each division will be advanced to the gold playoffs and the rest will be in the silver playoffs. We will advance the winner and the runner up from the silver play offs to the golden playoffs. The schedule will be released tomorrow at 1pm Edt.




Also we need logos from a few teams. Don't make me make you a logo. You've seen my skills, you've yet to see my lack of creativity!
