Title: Anyone else play co-op at PAX?
Post by: RearAdmiralZill on April 15, 2014, 09:49:05 am
Kind of curious who made it besides a lot of MM and Firestone. (Yes, we met in person.)

It was pretty fun. We took two squids just for the heck of it and beat it alright. It's certainly not done, but Muse put on a good show for sure.

I was disappointed you didn't yell "HULL SURETTE" at me in person.

Co-op was fun, still needs work of course but I am confident it'll be great when it's released.

My headset didn't have a mic. I figured taking squids was obnoxious enough that yelling at you over PAX happenings wasn't needed. The tourney would of seen much more.

Oh, weird. Mine had a mic. I just assumed you were too busy sighing to yourself due to my jumping in front of your helm to actually use it to talk to me.

I can only imagine the amount of confused looks on players' faces in response to our yelling had the tournament actually happened.

I actually played through it twice, once with Zill, Shink and Surette and once with just Surette. I gunned both times. It was enjoyable, but obviously still a bit rough. The planes were kind of annoying, they spent far too little time in arc and most ships couldn't ascend or descend quickly enough to adjust, but they didn't do that much damage so it wasn't too bad. I'm sure they'll get better and blasting them down with the gatling when they were in arc was very satisfying. Fighting the new airships was a lot of fun. They looked really awesome and I hope they make it to skirmish eventually. We only had two humans per ship, so that was a bit annoying.
