Title: Interesting Question #1
Post by: The Sky Wolf on January 21, 2014, 07:30:36 pm
If Guns of Icarus Online had killstreak rewards; whether in Adventure Mode or Skirmish Mode. What would you want them to be?

Summon Sky Whales, however the one after would be Eat Bacon. Because Bacon is almighty, so it has higher requirements to be worthy of holding.

112. Long live the pit!
112.1. The pit does not create horrible things, it incubates them.
112.2. Do not kill the pit before it has laid it’s eggs.
112.2.1. The pit lays its eggs every October and incubates them until March. Provide ample pitage during this time.
112.2.2. When the offspring reaches 6 months of age, they are fully mature and will spread to other threads, derailing them and then returning in the seventh month to lay more eggs.
112.2.3. In the event of a fire save these eggs. But leave RethBurn and Piemanlives behind.

Just the natural life cycle

In all seriousness this is one of those threads that invite these kinds of answers :P

I was thinking more along the lines of a Ground-To-Air-Rockets/Flak.

You know.. from maybe "Big Guns" on the ground as opposed to Small and Medium guns currently mounted on ships.

Killstreaks in travel would add 10% permahull. Critical hit streak in boss fights 10% permahull reward. For advancing some experience rewards like unique items. Boots, hats, gloves, sword or something pimped up.

Not really suitable for this topic, but I have an idea which is sort of similliar to yours, except giving killstreaks which increases your chance to win and dominate others.

An award in the end of the game like ''The most hull rebuilds - S1LENTK1LLER'', ''Most ships spotted - Gangsta2003'' and so on. And those awards would count and appear on profile. For instance, if I have received the award for most shots fired 3 times, it'll appear on my profile that I have done it. Overtime you might get some items or some tag... I am not a creative person, but I think this is not that bad. Is it?

It sounds like a fun thing to have! just don't make one for buffing, it'd be deadly xD

Dude I don't even buff, why you think I'm still on the same levels as when I joined...

Maybe I should start buffing stuff more! [*the crowd is in panic*] :D

The only way I see killstreak working is unlocking new spawn points.
