Does descending also increase forward speed? If so then here's how it could go:
-Get yourself a tailwind
-Activate buffed moonshine with an engi camping each turning engine with a spanner and another camping the main engines
-Once top speed has been hit, use chute vent for a fraction of a second before switching back to moonshine and descending. Use the lasting effects of chute vent to come crashing down.
I would love to see the kind of speed you could hit with that.

Fact: Today I used heatsink for the first time since the flame nerf. In other words, I used it for the first time IN THREE MONTHS. That ammo type really needs more of a purpose outside of lumber/flak arming time help.

Fact #3: Heatsink is the best ammo type for close-range offensive flare. You can lay down 20 stacks on their balloon, and then hit their hull too.

That really depends on what you mean by the old pit. The old forums stretched a few "generations" (as I like to call it). For me, the old pit will always be 1st/2nd generation, maybe even a bit of the 3rd. But if I recall correctly you're 4th gen Sund :P (if you didn't sneak around before that without me noticing)

uh yeah it's a bit blurry. 1st/2nd was the first parts pre/early beta. I had them separated because we had a while with literaly like 8-15 people active at all, and then I guess the second was more when it picked up a bit. Then when the game started to pick up more and a lot more joined we got into the 3rd. Urm, and so a bit time went and a whole bunch of new players joined, in which I call the 4th gen. Now when we moved forums and even more people picked up, while others left I see it as the 5th. (This is of course mainly my own speculation of the whole, only counting on forum presens, and also not taking into account the days before the original kickstarter)

Funily enough I've mentally marked you, along with Zill, Tim and a few others as the main starters of Generation 4 :P
But I guess.. you could very well be right if you didn't get on the forums directly. Gen 3 stretched very far in my mind, starting in somewhat established beta, coming up in Thunderdunes ending sometimes... somwhere. Involving such a span of joiners as Queso, Meta, Trylo/syrus, Imperator, Spaceman, Rainbow, Hindenberg, Keyvias, Dynemati, Zenith, Qwerty etc etc. (hang on while I'm missing hundreds)

More damage per clip due to the extra clip size. Charged decreases the clip size too much, and greased decreases the damage per shot too much. They all empty their clips in no time at all, so really it's all about which one hurts the most overall.

Technically greased is the best for killing anything other than a Galleon or Goldfish, but that's assuming that you'll hit the hull with every shot, which isn't going to happen. Best to extract maximum potential with burst. And since you should be using that anyways on a hwacha for the additional disabling power, it opens up a slot for heatsink (just in case).

About a week now- and I'm going to stick with ol' birthday cake. Everyone needs a slice of the celebration~ With the buffed ignition chance, three will completely disable a ship like a flamethrower does- except at a safe distance, and with with explosive damage that can kill once the hull armor goes down.
Not to mention that its extremely horrifying to be on the enemy ship with all of the whistling, confetti, and 6+ stacks of fire on every component.
Earlier today, I flew on a replication of my build named the Rice Cake.

I don't think he doesn't try to hurt your feelings john, people automaticly dislike if someone or some people flood the forums and not giving any brething time for others to post.
In my opinion I think he wants tosay that it's ok that you post in the pit but don't post too much. We all know the pit is filled with crappy post but there is no fun if only 2 people spam the pit, everyone wants to post too. If you just lower your posting into a normal amount and not flood the every topic with you and oliver, then I think you're fine. Just let other people post too.
I do post alot in the pit but I dont spam topics, I moslty place 1 post in a topic and wait until some other players also posted.
I think pie just wants to make clear that the forum is not a Open Internet chat service. It's a place for people to share their stuff with others and respect eachother (and blame Shinkurex).

I don't hate you, but as Coldcurse already said filling the pit with low content posts does not make us love you. There is a private message function of the forum if you want to hold a conversation with one person. A forum is for when you want to share some thing with everyone. It is also where other people want to share their thoughts with everyone. It gets hard to do that if there are two pages of quote pyramid since the last post with content.

Fact: I have to agree with Hamsters statement, the pit is supposed to be a place for silly shenanigans, however both Jawjee and Oliver completely dominated the place with idiocy (Sorry but that's what it was). Those posts literally did nothing for anyone but you two, sure I've had 1 or two conversations in the pit with another member but you have taken up quite literally dozens of pages in which it is really only the two of you posting, not letting any us do a single damn thing. If you guys want to post that's fine, but if you're going to do that on a regular basis then just take it to the pm's, it's safer and you annoy considerably less people.
