So...

What do you think?

Looks pretty nice to me. Liking the colors and, as far as I can tell, the format.

Looks good so far.  Should be a much better format for tracking discussions than the first forum.

Quick question, If I may.. what's the message edit policy?  If we want to create a thread as a Guide do we have a limited or unlimited perriod to edit our posts?

I ask, because if I want to create a damage animation thread (for example), do I need to go back to the game and fill in the blanks in the collection before I start, or can I make a start and go back and add in the missing pieces a week, two weeks or a month later?

Looks very good to me! Personally I had hoped it'd be a phpBB, but this one fits just as perfectly. Very nice job with the integration of the game accounts!

The edit policy is the same as on the old forum, and you'll have 30 minutes after posting to edit. In the case of guides, you can ask a CA/moderator to help you make edits to the original post.

It is not like reddit anymore where commentaries create sort of trees - I will miss that.  :(
The current forum looks like typical forum, nothing exciting yet...

Is there a possibility to integrate gunsoficarus.com with GoIO? Number of players currently in the Lobby, list of games, friends in game, Join Game/Friend feature via the click on the main page etc. - all these features would make gunsoficarus.com even better and prove that Muse cares about its community. (^_^)

So far liking the forum, it's something I'm familiar with being an MMO troll for years.

I love it!  The old forum was very odd.  This one's closer to what I'm used to.  Though no forum I've encountered was quite as awesome as the Gaslamp Games Forums. (http://community.gaslampgames.com/)  This one is at least fairly standard.

Far superior to the previous one. I will definitely be visiting this forum more often than before.

Hmm, powered by XenForo? Never heard of it, but I agree it does look nice!

Now that's what I was hoping to hear. :)

I've really fallen in love with this forum. It's got so much more than the old one. And adding our levels on the left is a nice touch  :)

I just noticed that I can't access the forum stats page anymore. It tells me that I'm not allowed. What's up with that?

It appears that your status has been reset to member. I'll fix it for you.

Any time you change your email address you'll lose your special status, so just PM me and let me know so I can reset it. An annoying little quirk of our registration system.

Huh, that's weird. I didn't change my e-mail address, or any other account information for that matter.

Thanks for fixing it, though :)

Actually, it just occurred to me that it might be from syncing with the game server, since "Moderator" is a forum-only status and might be getting overwritten. I'll see what I can do about that.

Sorry, spamming thread with admin stuff. Back to talking about how much we like the new forum... :D

By the way, the old forum archive is broken.
Whenever I click in any category it shows a "Not found" error.

Can you still reproduce this, or attach a screenshot? It looks ok when I tested just now.

OK, I found what the problem is.
If you access it using http, everything is perfect.
But if you access it using https links don't work:
https://gunsoficarus.com/community/forumarchive/ (https://gunsoficarus.com/community/forumarchive/) (The main page works, but its links don't)

Works:
http://gunsoficarus.com/community/forumarchive/categories/news (http://gunsoficarus.com/community/forumarchive/categories/news)
Doesn't work:
https://gunsoficarus.com/community/forumarchive/categories/news (https://gunsoficarus.com/community/forumarchive/categories/news)

Sorry, it was my fault. I use a firefox extension to always use https instead of http when its supported by the webpage.
Thanks for the help anyway :)

Should have asked this a long time ago, but...

What's with the white square at the bottom-left corner of the community section on the main page of the forum?

You're not seeing it? Maybe it only happens on mobile...

Looking at it on my desktop, it only seems to occur when the site is viewed on a mobile browser. So it's only a very, very minor issue that could be left alone without any consequence.
